Offensive Game Plan schemes/strategies

Wow... I need a change LOL

I have a serious series of questions:

How well do some of the zoners and football guru's know about offensive game planning etc? How well does anyone here know how Garrett does things?

I would be curious to know how you think we will use certain players.

Yes... starting with TO.... then Glenn... then Witten... Barber... etc...

What are their strengths? What SHOULD they be doing? Names of plays and short description would be appreciated.

Short and sweet I expect a ball controlled offense that will take shots down field from time to time. I think if you look at the coaches Garrett has been around I think it is fairly clear how Garrett will run this offense.

I'm excited at all the I formations we saw in preseason. I really liked the way the offense appeared to be setup.

Yo Mick, good to see ya. Well, not sure how it's going to play out regarding the players mentioned. But we do know that Garrett will want to stretch the field with T.O., both TE's (Witten & Fasano), along with the rest of our WR core.

But the offense will only take what the defense gives them. I expect a heavy dose of Julius and Marion vs. the Giants in the season opener. Then look for play-action.

Hey Fletch - all is well. Hope all is well with you.




At the very least I would like to see the following:

TO with a Quick Slant(it has to work 3out of 4 times)

Glenn with a couple of Deep Routes per game(successful or not)

Witten - same as Novacek, at the very least security blanket underneath when nothing else is there(this will bail Romo out)

Fasano - made some clutch catches last year. Gotta get him in there.

Barber - change nothing from last year... maybe a few more carries... but I dont need to have that... take quality over quantity when it comes to him

Julius - change nothing from last year with him either... let defenses chase him around in 1st half-3rd qtr.

Crayton - increase his opps... guy has money hands.
Hurd - have a few plays that involve him. We wont know about him if he doesnt have a chance to show us?

Stanback - I would like us to throw this kid into the fire... I think he can handle it... he is a bit of a freak. I think he will respond with minimal mistakes.
