Offense is the subject of this post.
I have done some reading here and I like the debate over why the running game is so poor. With the draft done and with a LOT of injured players back this year, I believe the running game is going to do very well. The third TE was lost early in the season last year. I think he was going to be a big part of the running game and short passing game. When he went down, the offense seemed to be finding other personnel and strategies. I would look for the team to run more to set up the pass this season, whenever that will be?
The running personnel will change to match the run protection as I see it. That I think is the real question in the running game. The passing game is pretty easy to see from last year except for the blocking schemes.
Just a few comments while we wait for the season to begin.
