Or do we just have the highest draft choices across the front 5?
Or are we just know for run blocking.
Where do we stand in allowing Sacks. I would think middle of the road.

Close to the best.

Only thing holding them back is their pass blocking. The pass blocking has been good, but maybe not top 5. I actually believe they were better pass blocking last year than 2014, however, I still think they can be better.

Tyron Smith took a step backwards last year allowing 8 sacks. He needs to improve that. Great LTs are often in the 2-4 sack allowed range (Joe Thomas for example allowed 1 last season).

In 2015, Dallas' offensive line allowed 109 total pressures (sacks, hits, and hurries) which was by far the fewest in the league.

High draft picks don't guarantee those results, of course.

They are the best because they are the most versatile Oline i the NFL run, pass blocking, athletic ability and smarts.... still need to get better at pass blocking but I do understand those DLinemans in the NFL Big Athletes too so it aint easy, i get it.....

But Run blocking tho, No one is better than us cause the Lanes oh they are going to be available more often than not

Zack Martin needs to improve on the flag front. If I remember correctly he was penalized 14 times last year

You can nitpick Dallas a little bit, but can you name one better?

I can't.

You have 3 of the leagues 10 best lineman, all arguably the first or 2nd best at their position. You have a young stud guard and a top 10ish RT .

Their are teams with comparable tackles. Their are teams with comparable interior. But absolutely none of them are comparable across the board.

Yep, they are the best.

Best run blocking by far. Right near the top in pass protection. Great running zone. Great running man.

Smartest and best center in the league, and he's still improving.

Best or 2nd best LT and still improving.

Second best RG in the NFL but still improving.

Beastly LG who is just scratching the surface of what he can do. One of the most athletic big men in the NFL and maybe the most aggressive OL in the league. He has miles still left to grow. He is going to terrify defenses very soon.

RT that is under rated and is a good player... he just pales in comparison to his line mates. Great leader and smart.

Give me that line compared to any other team's group, and it isn't even close.

This is literally the 3rd year in a row this question has been asked. Every year the consensus is we're definitely top 3 and maybe the best. The other 2 potential teams have changed each year. We're the only team consistently at least top 3 and maybe the best. I would say that makes us the best without question.

Stop. Just stop.
They're clearly the best line in football. You can admit that without slighting your Packers.

Is it that clear? I believe they are absolutely in the top 5, but I don't think it's clear cut they are #1.

They were tied for 18th in the league in sacks allowed with 33 despite the fact they barely threw the ball (23rd most passing attempts in the league last season). I understand the pressures and hits allowed last year where pretty good, however, nothing about their sacks allowed number screams 'clearly the best in the league'.

They ranked 5th in the league in yards per rush (4.6) despite the fact they basically had a journeyman running it most of the time. Their run blocking is obviously outstanding.

The pass blocking is incredible for the most part.

We just think every route needs to develop 20 yards down field with Witten as the only check down.

Our scheme hangs our players out to dry. Especially the pass blocking and Romo.

Yeah, I don't know where this 'they aren't good in pass blocking' theory came from. Considering the offense is designed to hold onto the ball longer and in 2014 it got to the point where Romo was so confident in his O-Line he would hold onto the ball for ridiculous periods of time just because the bigger play was likely to happen. The Patriots may give up fewer sacks, but the ball is getting out of Brady's hands entirely quicker.

The crazy thing is Tyron is 25, Collins turns 23, Frederick is 25, Martin is 25 and Leary is the older man at 27 years old. If we can figure out a replacement for Free, like Chaz Green (24), it's going to be a sick O-Line for years to come. Especially as Collins is likely to get better and better. I compare Collins to Randall McDaniel and Martin to Steve Hutchinson. Tyron is a bit like Jonathan Ogden. That's a pretty incredible makeup.

Yes, it's clear.

Sack numbers are often the function of how long your quarterback is holding the football, especially when your pressures and hits are low.

I get you're a Packers fan, but the backhanded crap needs to go.
