Why are they getting a pass? That's where all our money is invested. And they underperformed. When the game was over, I saw Zach Martin walking around shaking hands with a big ole smile on his face. That didn't sit well with me. He makes what? Almost a million dollars a game? He didn't have an All Pro game.

thank you. Plus it shows us how big of a loss Fred Beard was. Looney has been fine, but he isn't Frederick. Fred is the Captain of the ship on the oline...the glue, the heart beat. We lost the eye of the tiger with him gone. They been getting a free pass. They have looked like garbage especially in pass protection.

Dak was under pressure for a lot of the game, but so was Watson. The difference is Watson made the plays when he was supposed to, but Dak couldn't handle it. He was only sacked twice.

Tyron and La'el had their hands full the entire game, but still held their own at least for the most part. And I wouldn't put too much stock in Martin's behavior after the game. I saw the same thing you did and it looked to me like he was just talking to his brother, who plays Center for Houston.

Yup, there was a guy in the backfield virtually every play, run or pass.

Teams can blitz us at will because no one fears any WR will do anything but drop the ball or catch it falling down.

The entire offense is a comedy of errors yet is built on precision we simply do not possess.

The games we've blocked it well are shockingly... the games we have won.
Both games we were held under 100 yards rushing we have lost.
The 3 losses we have allowed 13 sacks. The 2 wins 3 combined.

Watson was not under pressure the entire game.
He had all day on plenty of occasions.
He took massive shots on runs.
And he had the worst throw of the game when he was pressured and threw a terrible pick late.

He was better but he had far better WR and OL play.
Weird how that correlates.....

I think this is a good point too. Despite all of the hype and all of the investments, I don't see anywhere where the Cowboys have a distinct advantage because of their offensive line. And it's nit a sign of you can just point at Joe Looney and say 'he's struggling' and that's why the line hasn't played well.

No, at various points, it's all of these linemen letting the team down, and overall as a group. People want to talk about the pass rushing of Clowney and Watt, and that's fine, and the Cowboys did struggle against that, but they also struggled to run the ball consistently which is their bread and butter right now offensively. There weren't any powerhouse run defenders out there playing for the Texans. They shut down the Cowboys run game with several no-name guys holding up against name offensive linemen.

Clowney and Watt are really good. I think the OLine played good enough to win.

Dak not getting the ball out is part on him and part on scheme.

The OL was fine, considering how good the Texans' defensive front is. Clowney and Watt are going to win their battles from time to time, doesn't matter who you have out there on offense.

The bigger problem was the fact that their LBs had absolutely 0 hesitation coming downhill against the run, b/c we can't throw the damn football.

And I think it's inexcusable that Watson could possibly have better OL play. Both because of what the Cowboys have invested in their offensive line, and what they're supposed to have on their defensive line.

If this team can't win at the line of scrimmage on both sides against teams like this, given the investments, we don't stand much of a chance at all this season.

They shut the run down because the Texans attacked the LOS with run blitzes, stacked lines, etc.

It doesn’t matter how good an OL you have, if a team wants to put more defenders than blockers in the box, it’s going to be tough to run.

The Texans had no fear of Dak and this passing game.

Prepare yourself for a repeat this weekend. Jax has a better secondary than Houston. So they will have no problem using their LBs and safeties to crash the OL and try to slow Elliott.

Until Dak makes teams pay, this OL is going to be under assault in the run game.

They weren't loading the box. Not like Carolina was in week one.

You're right about having no fear of Prescott, nobody does any more, but they weren't selling out to stop the run.

Bring back the oline coach they let walk to Washington! Pay him what he wants. And fire everyone except maybe Richard, and he still should not be safe.

Everyone can agree Houston's OL is bad but they decided that they would not sit back and let the pressure get tot he QB. They made calls that got the ball out with in 2 seconds of the snap. Watson saw the pressure and made a call for a quick pass. Dak can't even read a slot blitz when his WR calls it out.

Our O line hasn't dominated any opponent since 2016.I am tired of hearing how good they are. They are overrated, over paid and under coached.

No, they weren't.
If they were we would have won, lol.
We ran the ball on 3rd and 2 and gained half a yard.
That is why Garrett was a coward and punted.
He had less confidence in this OL than he has all year.

Zeke had 54 yards on 20 rushes. He was hit in the backfield virtually every play.
