When was the last you read any lengthy threads or rants about the suckage of the offensive line? Can't remember, can you?

They've improved quite a bit this year, even with Bernadeau starting at right guard, and they're fairly young across the board. See, it's not all doom and gloom. Am I right? Am I right?

They're good at run blocking, still suspect in pass protection.

Unfortunately, the Cowboys are like a leaky bucket. Fix one problem and another pops up, even worse.

But yes, they've done a good job overall. The improvement at all 5 spots has been amazing.

They have been pretty solid. We need to make sure we keep adding talent in the draft though and not just assume the problem is solved.

Yup. Lots of improvement in that group. Even more reason to run the ball.....but with play action and leaf/delayed draws blended in .

Still need to get another guard and probably upgrade Free.

Leary is always a concern too with his knee.

Romo had a lot of time yeterday...so they have improved greatly. Pass protection was there, running game was there...how the heck did we lose?!?!?!?

The bright spot I was able to take from the Chicago game was that at one point in the game I realized that I wasn't expecting a false start from the line on every third down play.

Bernadeau should get the award for most improved. He has been really good in run blocking the past 3 games.

Free is the weak link of the group. He is ok in pass protection but is not a good run blocker.

Agreed, the OL has been GREATLY improved this year.

But in typical cowboys fashion... one thing gets fixed, 75 other things break.

They're doing well. I'd say draft another guard and then work on OL depth.

According to another poster, Free has received a red grade in five of the last eight games. Not good.
