In 2019, the Cowboys shattered its total yardage by over 500 points. Final total was 6,904 yards. This is only the 4th time Dallas went over 6,000 yards.

Total Offense: 1st
Passing Offense: 2nd
Rushing Offense: 5th

This is so frustrating to know that this great effort was wasted by a defense, despite ranking 9th, had great difficulty taking the ball away; a special teams unit that contributed virtually nothing; and a coaching staff who poorly prepared teams on a weekly basis.

Dallas made plays. It's just too bad they lacked playmakers.

The Dallas Cowboys forced 17 turnovers this season, 7 interceptions and 10 fumble recoveries.

Only 5 teams finished with fewer takeaways, the L.A. Chargers (14), Oakland Raiders (15), N.Y. Giants (16), Miami Dolphins (16) and Cincinnati Bengals (16).

The Pokes' 7 pass thefts tied for dead last in the NFL (Detroit Lions and Arizona Cardinals also had 7 picks).

Dallas' longest kickoff return was only 30 yards, with a team average of 16.3 yards (worst in NFL). The longest punt return was only 15 yards, with a team average of 5.7 yards (t 26th).

Redzone offense improved but not enough either. Iirc it was 17th.

No excuses there.

Punter Chris Jones ranked 30th also. His job is at stake also.
I'm pretty sure Chris Jones is done.

Jones was evidently dealing with some sort of back issue this season and yet the team still opted to not replace the veteran punter during the season.

ESPN's stats show Dallas with the worst average per punt (41.6 yds), the worst net punt average (37.7 yds) and second worst in punts inside the 20 (18).
