That’s top problem. Too many wr screens. Dumb unnecessary 2-3 yard routes. Open it up!!! Deep routes. Slants to cd when 1/1 matchup. Get the ball out in space. Shultz deep middle routes against lb. Receiver in motion pre snap to get advantage. Maybe scares dak can’t throw deep but we seen him do it. Or ol can’t block but fix it - gb had whole starting ol out and they killed it - that’s what coaches gotta do. Scheme your players open!!!!!!! Enough this bs.

It's tough to critique play calling when the QB can change the play at the line and often does...

Although I'll figure that the fake pitch and subsequent shovel pass into their two best players who would stand to be there by accident wasn't a signature moment for the offensive genius.

Lucky we didn't lose Martin forever as a result.

There are many plays where dak drops, holds the ball for 3-5 seconds, and dumps it down or simply doesn’t throw it to an open guy. I don’t think we’re conservative at all. More, Moore is looking for plays that work.

not conservatives enough the final 2 drives, they should not have been throwing when dak got that pick 6..but yes at time after going up 24-0 they seemed to be sitting on the lead..

KM new nick name is "little Garrett" and i hope he take new job next year and we can let MM find a new fresh OC who hasnt had garett training him..IT worked firing nolan now we need a fresh look at OC IMHO

I agree with the concerns from this past game, but looking at the body of work as a whole nothing has consistently worked the last few weeks. My frustration after the NO game was that we continued to call longer developing plays as NO brought extra pressure. Now Moore goes to quick routes and gadget plays, and we have the same issues. This offense feels broken beyond just play calling. We have an execution problem right now.

I want some designed runs for dak. I dont care if it gets a yard. It will open up some things as the defense will need to account for it. Every game there are at least a couple times where dak could run for a first but he tries to fit something in and it doesnt work.

McCarthy said in the post game press conference that Del Rio’s plan was to take away the deep/downfield pass all game.

I think Moore’s response was to use that cushion for WR screens and let guys create YAC. Even Greg Olsen said during the broadcast that with the style WFT was playing they needed to tackle well because a broken tackle means 20 yards before the next defender.

And though the plan in response wasn’t bad, the execution was as our TE’s can’t block in space (I have no idea why we keep asking them to) and the ball placement from Dak was inconsistent. After seeing these mistakes happen multiple times Moore should’ve adjusted to an alternative short passing game approach or at least reduction in the screen calls.

While Moore can scheme well, his biggest weakness IMO is his lack of feel for the game. He seems to go away from things too early or stay with them too long. This will get better with experience though I believe.

Agree last couple drives. I’m talking earlier. Gotta throw deep - push ball down field. Make the d scared of deep ball. Plus chance draw penalty.

also if dak checking into dumb play need start limiting him in changing plays.
