Look like we'll get Martin back this week and maybe Looney (at least he's close).

What configuration should the line take for the rest of the season?

I'm thinking:

Erving (maybe Knight when he returns) - Williams - Badaize - Looney - Martin

Unfortunately I don’t think it will matter. I hate to even think about it but the egirls will beat us. If the Washington team beat us and the browns beat us. We have no heart left and the players are just walking through this.

Whatever gets us a better draft pick. :muttley:

I think they keep Martin at RG.
Erving / Knight, Williams, Biadasz, Martin, Steel.

They may put Looney back in a C.

If Looney is back that will help. Martin is obviously going to help. If you get arguably the second best guard in the league back, that’s a good day.

The fact we can get some relatively decent talent, (I’m basing this on the fact that despite Dak was pressured and running for his life too he still produced some big time games) back on the OL this year is why I think we are probably going to win a couple more games. I’m thinking 4-12 is how we finish.

I think they ride with Martin at RG. Why? Maybe Steele bullies Philbin during the week and takes his lunch money.

But seriously, they felt comfortable to roll with Steele at RT before Martin went down and I expect them to stay the course.

Steele's defo a better QB than he is Tackle.

Steele is really terrible.

With the nooch and Erving starting this week, the offense is going to incredibly bad, but t then I think the offense is going to start improving if we can avoid any more injuries.

In two weeks we will likely have Knight(if he is healthy), Williams, Biadasz, McGovern, Martin - with Looney playing for what the staff believes to be the weakest IOL.
With Dalton back, that OL is good enough so that the offense will be ok. Not great, but ok.

Actually, Steele was coming off a benching and was only out there because Knight had to go back to LT and the staff is clearly reluctant to throw rookies who haven't played a snap in the lineup. We now know Biadasz and McGovern can play. Steele is the weakest link right now. Gotta have the best 5 out there. Only way that happens is Zack to T. I think that's a done deal. Only question is right or left.

Do you

Biadasz playing well. C isn't the problem.

Need a LT/RT.

Browns have had bad teams in the past but we can't use them as an example this season.

They're actually a decent team this year. What's funny. Egals won a recent Superbowl, have the same coaches/quarterback.

What I ask, has been their problem the last few seasons?! o_O

I kick Martin to RT with McGovern at RG.

Erving/Knight-Williams-Biadasz-McGovern-Martin

You're still going to have to help on the left (hear that coaches, maybe actually coach), but I feel comfortable about the right side.

I think the browns took a shot. I believe obj is gone for the season. Most problems have been injuries for teams... And we have had a bunch lately.

If Looney is back, I think he returns to Center. Martin goes to RG. I think I would rather stabilize the middle for DiNucci. Erving stay at LT. The only question is what to do at RT. I think they need to get Steele out of there. I am not a big fan of Jordan Mills, but it he is ready to play I do think he is an upgrade over Steele. He has experience in the league. He has faced the Eagles front before. That's the best they can do I think. I don't trust either tackle but they got nothing else. I know nothing about Greg Senat.

I did not get a chance to watch McGovern much. I didn't see him screw up badly, but that doesn't mean he didn't. I saw Biadasz get manhandled a few times and I did not like that at all. He let the DTs get their hands on him and push him around. One play, the DT grabbed him and threw him aside. I think Biadasz will be good but he is not there now. Biadasz and McGovern got some good experience against NFL guys. Now they can sit on the bench and work on what they learned to get ready for the next time they are needed. Failure is a great motivator for some people.

I really think we need to kick Martin out to tackle. We have a few options at RG, but slim to none at RT.
