Not really, no... but the wrinkle that gets me the most excited has been under reported, it broke over the weekend that Cooper wouldn't be looking for a new contract if traded to Dallas as he believes he can perform in this system and increase his market value.

He wanted a new contract elsewhere.

That is what intrigues me.

I think this is another Dak sucks thread. Not a Cooper sucks thread.

Dak and Cooper are connected. With all the talk of not having a go to receiver, Daks future is predicated on winning and Cooper getting passes as the FO is saying, “here is your #1 Target.” Cooper’s future isn’t predicted on Dak because he will get a pass. So if you’re a Dak supporter, you want Cooper to turn it around for Dak.

Living in Cali, I see far too many Raiders games. Cooper is not improving like a young player should. He is no slouch but he is not the magic pill our offense needs. He was almost an afterthought in Oakland’s passing game this season.

He is immediately our best WR now but that isn’t saying much. I am not sure Dak can get him the ball more than 2-3 times a game. To me, this would be an acceptable gamble if it did not involve the first rounder. Amari is not worth that for a team far from competing in a deep playoff run.

true, but when you don't put up numbers, for whatever reason (ball doesn't go your way despite you being open, like Dez, Beas, Gallup, Zeke, Swaim, etc.), people start to label you as overrated or sucks.

Honestly, the way he has played the last 2 seasons, I see him as more of a #2 and we already have one of those in Gallup and I like Gallup's upside more.

I just hope we see Gallup, Cooper and Beasley featured the rest of the way. Thompson and Hurns just aren't adding much right now.
