Just Whitehead and Collins.

The roster is deeper and they had a lot of practice squad and IR guys from last year.

It looks as though the Cowboys have retained all 4 QB's on the 75 man roster. I am not sure if they are just keeping them around for camp arms or if they are having a serious debate over who to cut and who to keep. We will not keep 4 QB's on this roster. I am glad that Showers continues to be in the mix because I think he has more long term upside than the others and is showing more than Weeden and Vaughn in the short term as well. Of course we don't know how comfortable they are with his mastery of the playbook, or his ability to process regular season NFL defenses, so that will be a factor. I don't think Weeden or Vaughn bring much to the table anyway, so I'm not sure it really matters. I would love to see Showers at least make the practice squad. I just don't like what we have at backup QB right now. Weeden sucks pretty badly, and the Vaughn experiment should be over by now.

We need the 2 QBs to play against the Texans. Weeden may sit since he got knocked in the head. If had to bet, I say would both will be cut on Friday honestly. Whoever clears ends up on the PS.

Cowboys Release Four, Make Six Roster Moves To Meet 75-Man Limit

By David Helman DallasCowboys.com Staff Writer @HelmanDC

IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys reached their 75-man roster limit on Tuesday afternoon by releasing four and giving injury designations to another six.

The Cowboys waived linebacker Jonathan Brown, wide receivers Antwan Goodley and David Porter and tight end Brandon Barden. They also waived/injured defensive end Kenneth Boatright, running back Michael Hill and offensive tackle R.J. Dill – all three of whom sustained injuries during training camp.

The most significant of those would be Boatright, who suffered a severe injury scare when he was taken to a local hospital in Oxnard, Calif., with a head injury on Aug. 6. The third-year veteran did not return to practice before his release.

All three players to be waived/injured must clear waivers before reverting to the team’s injured reserve.
