Can you name a time Romo faced a 31st ranked passing defense in the playoffs that was missing practically all their starters? Not to mention with a fantastic Oline and a better set of offensive weapons than he had since 07? Stop acting like all situations are equivalent, Romo probably would have dropped 400+ and 40+ points on yesterday's Packers.

I remember when Romo was going up against the Seahawks in 2006 (the infamous bobbled snap bowl), Seattle had two guys they had just signed off the streets in the secondary, including Pete Hunter, formerly of the Cowboys. Romo passed for 187 yards.
But, to be fair, it was Bill Parcells' strategy to win on the ground and limit Romo's throwing opportunities.
IMO, when Bill left, there went Romo's chances for a Super Bowl. Bill was getting long in the tooth, but his philosophy is one that had the Cowboys adhered to, they would likely be Super Bowl champions under the Romo era.

Nah, the game had passed Bill by at that point and that game was a perfect example of it. Like you said that was on Bill for limiting Romo's throwing opportunities against a depleted secondary for running the ball with Julius Jones I believe.
