I don't see us going DT this late with Melton, Bass, Hayden, Crawford, McClain.....but you never know.

I'll be shocked if Gardner doesn't make the team.

Hayden needs to be replaced by a more talented player.

Gardner is a very good pick and a lot of people above are underrating him as an athlete. I really don't see him as a 3 tech. Look at his pro day #'s....He weighed in at 263, his 3 cone was 6.83, his 10 yard split was 1.67, and his explosive #'s were off the chart with a 39" vert and 10'2 broad. He's a legit 4-3 DE and an absolute steal in the 7th.

Kiffin just walked in the war room. He looks like he's 100 years old.

With so many late round picks it will be interesting how the Boys approach UDFAs. IMO they will have a leg up on the other teams because they can draft someone vs fight for them afterwards.

A 39 inch vertical for a 270 pound defensive lineman who supposedly lacks athleticism is absolutely ridiculous.

I really like this pick

The trick is to trade down more often and constantly look for future picks. Something tells me our draft team gets way too emotional about specific players to stockpile value.

When you're 8-8 every year you get the false sense that you are just one player away and thus you reach.

When you make the playoffs every year like NE and SF you can focus on adding to your arsenal one small piece at a time.

YES sir! VERY glad to see we picked him up:

Torn pec set him back a little...could be VERY good back up and absolutely can play special teams

I just read somewhere, maybe Walterfootball or heard it on NFLN that Gardener would have been drafted much earlier if not for injury. He looks great so we shall see how he works out.

Yea he jumped higher than any DE I believe. Or at least he was up there. Very underrated athlete. If not for his torn pec, we're probably looking at a 4th round pick.
