He doesnt "suck". He is a second year player with all the talent in the world who makes mistakes. Will he be as good as his brother? Probably not, but he will be a good QB in this league.

Don't be ridiculous, it's his 2nd season, he's allowed to struggle.

The same way people said Eli wouldn't have been the 1st pick if his last name wasn't Manning, I say that he wouldn't get near the criticism he gets if his last name wasn't Manning as well.

It's his second year. What if the Cowboys wrote off Aikman after that 1-15 year?

Manning has 22 starts in the NFL.....I would say he is ahead of schedule as far as the norm for young QBS

I understand that a young QB will have problems...as cited, Aikman certainly did.

BUT the thing that would concern me if I was a Giant fan  is that his accuracy is AWFUL...usually a young guy will have problems with the mental part of the game...and their poise...those are not issues with Eli.

His throws are scattershot...ducks...etc..

I will have to somewhat disagree......his inaccuracy occurs when he is being pressured, hurried, or when he is forced out of the pocket. As he matures and learns to read D's quicker I think his accuracy improves.

One thing for sure he is learning the NFL game ...playing...and not trying to improve by throwing footballs through a tire somewhere.

I'd trade Bledsoe for Manning in a heartbeat. I'd even drive Drew to the airport, load his luggage, stand on the runway and wish him a fond farewell.

Welllllll, I'll have to disagree with you disagreeing with me :D ....there were more than a few times when he wasn't pressured and he simply missed the open guy...in fact, if you think back to the Denver game, he was under tremendous pressure when he threw the winning TD pass. He seems to do pretty well in pressure situations..

I'm far from a believer at this stage.

We all get lucky now & then. :D

I am a believer in his future in this league.....but.....I hope he falls on his face.....otherwise he will be a big pain in our arse for years to come. ;)

Spot marked!!!!

I predict the Giants and Cowboys will be fighting for the top spot in the division for years to come. Philly will be in the running as well.

Right now he does suck, in the future i don't know how good he'll be. Still one big thing going against him is he is playing in NY and everytime he has a bad game (even now) he'll get flamed by the media and fans. Thats not an easy place to play for a young player. Thats why i do think there is a better chance that he'll be a bust rather than a star.
