I think STL will do everything they can to re-sign him since he's a rising star and Isaac Bruce is getting up there in years.

I know J. Jones said he wouldn't spend nearly as much on FA's as he did last year so instead of signing some superstar we'll probably spread the dough around judiciously among several second-tier FA's to address our various needs. There will be some decent reasonably priced lesser-known guys available like:

1. WR - Jabar Gaffney - not a #1-type WR but a good complementary possession type which we will need to eventually replace the aging K. Johnson. Gaffney is also only 25.

2. OLB - Sedrick Hodge/Hannibal Navies - lots of speed

3. MLB - Ben Leber - OLB with SD, big enough to play ILB, strong against run

4. RT - Kevin Barry - big and fairly mobile, relatively young too

5. OG - Tutan Reyes - not long-term starter material but solid depth guy

I like your list, but instead of Gaffney, we need a receiver who can seperate from DBs, not another possession receiver

Yeah, well I wouldn't mind either of those. Anyone that is a threat to catch a deep one, becomes a super threat when you have 2 of them on the same team.

With Hakim or Curtis, Glenn would be a star in this offense. You send them both deep, you would have to double team both of them, leaving Key,Crayton,or Witten free reigns to destroy everything within 15 yards of the LOS.

If he still has blazing speed and can catch the deep ball, that's all we need him for is a threat.

He will play no significant role on this team, other than giving defenses another deep threat to be concerned with. We're not asking him to come in and be our #1 or #2 guy, we just have absolutely no threat deep other than Glenn. And if you shadow him with a safety, our deep ball is gone.

why is everyone so enamored with big name free agents. People hardly make the impact you'd expect once signed to a big time contract. I want nothing but mid priced young guys here in Dallas.
