I'm trying to understand the logic in that statement...are you saying that if his receivers were not very good, he wouldn't have very good numbers? I think you can say the same thing for every QB in the league. Would Drew be as good if we didn't have Key and Glenn, let alone Witten? Randy Moss is the most physically gifted receiver in the league, but he's not having a good year, and his QB has led a team to the Super Bowl.

what i meant was, because he has tall receivers, such as Plaxico Burress, he can throw errant, high throws and still get completions.

To a certain extent, I agree with you, but Tim Carter is only 6'0 and he pulled in a high pass. Also, his completion % would likely be higher if Shockey had any concentration ability.

This offense reminds me of the Rams offense. You have a dynamite running game but for some reason Vermeil wants to chunk and dunk with the passing game all day.

If they hammer away with Johnson, they win this game easily
