***Official Giant vs Chief Game Thread***KC 17 NY-27)

The Chiefs still have a shot with the offense they have and the Giants O hasn't exactly lit up the Chiefs.

True, you have to make more solid contact with the defenders to make the lights go off

Let's try to not sound like Commander's fans, ok? :)

I'm about as objective as it comes when the refs call things. I have been watching many calls on the Giants closely, and this one was another one in my opinion where the reffing seemed to have favored the Giants.

Let's also not forget the Seattle fiasco that supposedly had the NFL and Holmgren disagreeing. ;) ;)

His foot and ankle even rolled over, the Giants have some mighty fine home cooking tonight.

Two late hit calls when the whistle happened at the time of the hit.

Another call like that and the NFL might as well start running the Manning vs. Manning Super Bowl commericals.

The NFL might as well just skip all of next year's season and have the New York Giants play the Indianapolis Colts, in the "shortest season ever".

Will give Giant credit their D has played the Chiefs well.

I think it's kinda silly to subscribe to an Oliver Stone viewpoint that the entire NFL brass is secretly trying to get a Manning vs Manning superbowl...if you think that lowly of the NFL, why watch?

I never suggested that. I don't even know who did.

Throwing out mass conspiracy theories diverts attention away from the point, which is atrocious reffing.

You're saying it's another situation where the Giants got a call they didn't deserve...and you're also referencing the Seattle game...so it's a conspiracy...

My feeling is, then why watch?

that extra home game looking bigger and bigger every week....

Giants would be scary good if they had a quarter back

They did get a call that they didn't deserve. The Seattle game was used as evidence for another atrocious reffing game that once again favored the Giants even though they lost. You made the assumption about conspiracy, not me.

Like I said, throwing out mass conspiracy theories diverts attention away from the point, which is atrocious reffing.

The guy didn't even explain why the play stood as called, when I've watched many refs this year given a paragraph long explanation on why the play stood or was overturned.

remember who they played against, the Saints...chances are that they wouldve beaten the Saints handily, no matter where it was.
