Twitter: Official list of UDFA

man I wish Holton Hill was on that list. that's going to be a big miss for us.

Dalton Sturm, QB, UT-San Antonio

Jordan Chunn, RB, Troy

Malik Earl, WR, Missouri State

Marchie Murdock, WR, Iowa State

David Wells, TE, San Diego State

Jay Robertson, OL, Tennessee

Jacob Campos, OL, Iowa State

Bryce Johnson, OL, St. Cloud State

Austin Larkin, DE, Purdue

James Hearns, DE, Louisville

Dequinton Osbourne, DT, Oklahoma State

Joel Lanning, LB, Iowa State

Ed Shockely, LB, Villanova

Kyle Queiro, LB, Northwestern

Charvarius Ward, CB, Middle Tennessee State

Kam Kelly, CB, San Diego State

Donovan Olumba, CB, Portland State

Tyree Robinson, S, Oregon

Tyree Robinson and/or Kam Kelly will make the 53 man roster as a safety. Tyree Robinson looks like he can ball. These are two gems that the Boys stole after the draft.

Kam Kelly is aggressive and is physical in all aspects of the game. He played the war position in college and QB in high school. He will be a special teams beast.

Go Dallas!!!

No one on this list stands out at all. I like the name at LB Ed Shockley, but he is smallish, 6-0 and 233 I think.. maybe he can be converted to SS.
Don’t know much else about him though.

The only new name I see is James Hearns. I saw his 2016 game against Syracuse and wrote these notes.

Needs to be better at getting attempting deflections.
Mediocre motor skews speed.
Most of his production as a pass rusher comes from setting blockers up for inside moves.
Struggles getting into position before the snap.

So----the obvious question. Are any of these guys any good? Who could surprise? Who could stick?

If I were a gambling man, I'd bet on Kameron Kelly. People had a draftable grade on him and he faces the least amount of competition. Maybe look out for David Wells as well; the Cowboys have guys they like at TE, but I wouldn't doubt he could take Jarwin's spot away at the very least.
