They aren't trading up to 10 for a WR in a draft with 50 draftable WRs. You are jumping over the fact that all these signings on defense are retreads on the downside. I would expect Brown with a trade to 10.

Love the idea of trading up for Jeudy, but I'm thinking that the rest of the draft picks are kind of wishful thinking. Arnette and Weaver, specifically, I wouldn't expect to be there.

If the Cowboys trade up to 10, giving up their 2nd round pick and take a WR I will run to the subway, wipe my hands over every seat on 3 subway cars and then wipe them all over my face. That's after I smoke 3 packs of cigarettes.

I'm OK with the ideal of trading to top 10 but NOT for a WR, especially for this draft where they 3-rounds deep with quality players. Also, we just locked up Coop for a min 2 years and have for another 2 years. Now I'd have no problem going up for Okudah or Simmons.......

Great 4th round pick at TE

Both have red flags.

Arnette is a guy who just makes stupid decisions off the field. He is going to drop alot.

Weaver is short and isnt a natural bend type of player. But the Cowboys are interested in him.

These two types of players fans see the name on the jersey and always overrate them and then see them drop rounds in the draft. Weaver is rated as a 3-4prospect. And that DET pick would at the top of RD4.

You love you some Curtis Weaver.

I do, i see him as a guy that can develop and learn under nolan and eventually take over for Lawrence down the line. Or just be a rotational guy that can give you production coming in on situations. The team is reported to liking him aswell.

Its a big price to pay, but a player like Jeudy to team up with Cooper and Gallup is easily a better play then reaching for a soft CB in the first round. Or a lesser CB in round 2. It seems this team is filling holes with veterans, if they can lock up Poe teaming with McCoy Lawrence and Crawford/Gregory. Id be fine with that. The DL makes the secondary better.

Arnette, Weaver, Murchison, Hill, Divinity, Jones would provide alot of depth for a defense that lost alot of depth in FA.

Jerry Has been Waiting for a splash like this. I can see them trading up for Jeudy, Kinlaw, Okudah with a trade like this. But with McCarthy offense used, id think WR would be more of a want over the other two positions. This defense is young enough, and thats part of the problem. Too much inexperience.
