Just speculation, but maybe the coach isn't confident in his passing/defense recognition abilities yet. Wasn't that one of the problems BP had... DH's ability to read defenses?

He does do nice play fakes... several times today the defender has followed him...

A nice play-action fake should give him some time to throw now...
