*** Official Rob Ryan Thread ***

I think Rob did pretty much every thing he could to help this team win the ball game but in the end they made the plays when they needed them and Dallas didnt.

can't see any way we keep him. one and done. he has delivered the goods just like he said he would. But he's going to be a Head Coach very soon.

The defense sent Brady and the pats off the field three and out when it counted and what does our offense do? Hand the ball right back to him and ask the defense for the impossible.

anyone that blames this loss on ryan because of the last drive should go jump off the scoreboard at cowboys stadium

I agree, but those idiots will still do it.

If Jerry lets Ryan leave I don't see how I can keep watching. I know I will i just don't see how. Jerry letting Ryan leave instead of making him head coach will be his biggest mistake yet.

He basically held the best offense in football to 20 points, which hasn't happened since--wait for it-- last season vs the browns which had Ryan as their D coordinator.

He had to deal with an inept offense who turned the ball over and couldn't pull themselves together for more than a few drives.

....and anyone else that can't see what you just pointed out is either drunk or overly pissed/frustrated about the loss: which I get as I am too. But really, I said 7-9 before the year and sadly guys it's just about right. We just aren't that good. Everyone wants to point fingers, but...we don't have the horses up front on the oline. If we did, we could have ran out the clock and won easily. As for all the jokers crying about running the ball, can't have it both ways. Romo showed AGAIN against Detroit he can't be trusted in those situations.:bang2:

There's no way he's in Dallas next year.

Someone is going to make him a head coach.

He did a great job for 58 minutes. Just like JG.

Ryan was a million times better overall today, but he, and that whole defense, fell apart with the game on the line.

You're gonna credit Garrett with 58 minutes?

I think 2 full quarters is being generous. The offense was just putrid in the first half.

kind of hope its us, i like garrett, but the evidence just keeps stacking up against him and his offense

Rob Ryan called a heck of a game but when Brady is on, nothing is stopping him. Rob Ryan needs to be our HC and we are fools if we let him slip through our fingers over Jason "no guts" Garrett.

Rob Ryan has been just great this year. The offense put the defense in a bad situation at the end.

Too many FGs today. You know what's ironic? We've been crying for a steady kicker. Well, we got one, but it doesn't matter so far. Bailey has been balling out for naught.

Rob is the man. His unit comes to play and he has them ridiculously prepared. Compare it to the chinese firedrill we see before every play on offense.

There's nothing stopping Jones from replacing Garrett.

He has to realize how special Ryan is, if we win 6-7 games and he keeps Garrett, then obviously he's satisfied with mediocrity.

Every week he proofs to all of us what a great DC he is. Sure he talks alot but he backs it up more than i ever dreamed of.

I am not joking: This last drive where we couldn't stop New England from scoring it was the first time i felt sorry for a coach.

What a great addition he is.

I wish Rob could breath some fire or life into our offense the way he has done with our defense.

Held the NE offense to 20 points, created 4 turnovers, but it wasn't enough for our offense.

If Rob has some choice words for Garrett tonight, I would not blame him in the least.

Sure there is.

It's called his EGO.

You know how stupid he'd look (no matter how appropriate the decision may be) if he canned a coach mid season and then came back and canned another one the next year.

Garrett is in the Jones family portrait. You're kidding yourself if you don't think he's getting at least three years here.

our defense is not perfect but is performing way better than our offense( which is really handicapping our defense with constant turnovers)
.

Outstanding game...uh...until it counted.
Thought I would give him the treatment that Romo got recently. Obviously, just kidding.

I'll pick on someone though.....If Spencer does not get a couple of monumental boneheaded penaties, we win.
