*** Official Rob Ryan Thread ***

There's nothing stopping Jones from replacing Garrett.

He has to realize how special Ryan is, if we win 6-7 games and he keeps Garrett, then obviously he's satisfied with mediocrity.
I hear ya. I think we win 10 or more though.

Sure there is.

It's called his EGO.

You know how stupid he'd look (no matter how appropriate the decision may be) if he canned a coach mid season and then came back and canned another one the next year.

He'd be even more stupid if Ryan goes to another team and becomes another Sean Payton. No one in the world would slam him for making Rob Ryan head coach.

He can't be afraid to make ballsy moves as GM.

our defense is not perfect but is performing way better than our offense( which is really handicapping our defense with constant turnovers)
.
That's the thing, our offense never really gives our defense a chance to pin their ears back and go at it. They are always asking for more more more and putting them in no win positions.

I don't think anyone can truly say this one was the defense's fault. The defense is the only reason we had a chance at all.

Offense was twice inside the Patriots 5 yard line. We walked away with 6 points.

Rob Ryan called a heck of a game but when Brady is on, nothing is stopping him. Rob Ryan needs to be our HC and we are fools if we let him slip through our fingers over Jason "no guts" Garrett.

So if Rob Ryan is our HC, our offensive line suddenly gets better? How does that work?

Blaming the defense is the dumbest thing to do. Let's say it was the other way around. It was a shootout, 40-37, the offense scored TDs and racked up 400 yards but the defense gave up 500 yards to Tom Brady and the Pats. The offense had a chance to win it in the final drive but came up short. Therefore the offense gets the blame right? Heck no, most of us are probably out here applauding Romo and the offense for playing their hearts out.

You see how ridiculous blaming the defense looks?

IF Rob Ryan's our head coach, obviously we'd have a new OC, and i'd feel a lot better about this team right now overall.

I'll assume we would've been conservative when we had the lead in the NYJ and DET games, and we try to go for the first in the Pats game because he knows how dangerous Brady is.

Umm how exactly did he do a great job by giving Brady the easy win in the last 2 minutes?

My thoughts exactly............he had been pressuring the whole game until the last drive. Half the time neither Spenser or Ware were rushing the passer.
He had his best efforts when providing heavy pressure on Brady. The last possession he just left Brady sit in the pocket and pick us apart. No way he will ever replace Garrett......he is too crude! I like Ryan but I don't think he is the greatest coordinator in the game. His run defense wasn't very good and that is his greatest contribution. The defense looked confused on many plays and maybe with a few more games under our belt the defense will get even better. :bang2:

EXACTLY. To blame the defense is just plain idiotic. At some point, you are just asking the defense to do too much. AT SOME POINT the best offense in the league is going to score. You can only hold them off for so long. Our offense had plenty of opportunities to finish the Patriots off and blew it.

Dumb thread, no reason to hate Ryan. You're kinda spazzing out reality, just differently than everyone else, but still spazzing

It's a Rob Ryan thread...not a hate thread....

Tom Brady with his lowest QB rating since week 6 of LAST season. Enough said.

He's the coach with "passion and enthusiasm" out there. I've always thought he should be the coach.

Can you name any great defenses in today's league? Rob Ryan has this D playing as good as it gets right now.

He's our MVP right now, but it's all being wasted. Such a shame.

Rob Ryan is THE man. Jerry won't make the right choice in this book it were gonna loose an amazing coach

The d gave the ball back to the o 4 tmeds and they wete able to get a grand total of 6 pts of the to's. They scored a grand total of 13 pts vs the worst d in football. No way was this lost on the d.
