Hmm, maybe, but I still like LVE. It was a toss up between Evans and LVE for me. Either fits us well, and I think LVE covers better. Furthermore, I suspect that his combine and pro day showing might've been a put off for the Cowboys. He refused to run at the Combine, and then he refused to run at the Pro Day which was why our FO went there. As a result, my guess is that the Cowboys were put off as a result, and they decided that LVE is the better choice. If so, I completely understand the move.

There would be people claiming "reach" no matter who we picked. We needed LB, and he's a good one. Could he get injured? Sure, anyone could. Opinions vary.

I mean LB was certainly a need. Our LB play was horrifically bad last year when Lee or Hitchens were hurt. And hitch is gone.

So don’t get me wrong. Glad they addressed LB.

Hopefully LVE will be the next Urlacher for Marinelli. I would love to eat crow on the pick.
