Mel and Todd said he was doubled team this year after 10 sacks last year and plus he was injured.

still havent addressed the interior of the DL.

I just don't think this team views it as a priority. Right or wrong this team has a philosophy on 1Tech's and Safeties that go against the grain of traditional thinking.

yup...I was thinking Josh Sweat....same line of thinking...gotta cover for Gregory. Reason why Armstrong over Sweat...medical concerns for Sweats knee. And we know how we avoid knee injuries.

In 2017 they changed the scheme and made him an OLB.

A 4.9 defensive end? That's not really aweinspiring stuff. I realize he's not running 40 yards to the QB but this pick is a real head scratcher.

This one sure sounds like we outsmarted ourselves again instead of going for a known quantity. Better players seem to have been available when we picked. Don't like this pick at all. I hope I am wrong. Should have moved up and not takes this guy. Wasted pick.

I think the deal with this team is that they like Mo and Irving in the interior and Crawford. I never got the impression that the Cowboys viewed 1tech as much of a need as the fans do. Just what it is.

If you get an extra 6th you can be in better shape to package picks later if needed.

Actually, we do. There's no way to know if Dlaw will be back next year, and Ealy is an experiment. So, this was a good move. Plus, he might be able to be shifted to OLB if needed.
