One more peeve from "Night Agent. I still have a few more episodes to go so I expect I will have more, but what is it with these shows where there is a huge problem to solve and we see 1 or 2 people involved in solving it?

Imagine a potential terrorist threat threat to the United States involving WMDs and to uncover the plot and stop it before thousands are killed the government dedicates 2 agents to the case! The FBI has over 10,000 special agents. DHS has many more. I would expect that in a case like this the FBI would dedicate at least hundreds if not thousands of special agents along with all kinds of surveillance resources, state and local police and who knows what else.

But in this show we have a threat of a chemical weapons attack and our hero captures one of the bad guys. But since there are only 2 people from the government involved. One has to go investigate an possible clue while the other is left alone to watch the prisoner - for hours and no backup or other resources arrive to help!. This is laughably stupid.

On top of that, the two legitimate agents, if you can call them that, involve a young female programmer in their plot and expose her to top secret information without vetting her through a typical background check. Just think if this thing goes sideways. Imagine the investigations and the reaction to the fact that this amateur was deeply involved in the plot. The two agents involved would be destroyed, imprisoned and then destroyed again.

If you like shows with constant action and suspense, and you can disregard the astonishing stupidity of what you are watching, then Night Agent is for you. If you struggle with dumb stuff being passed off as a good spy thriller story, you will find yourself laughing through 10 episodes of this series.

IMO, it started off very strong, but in the second half or so, it seemed like they were trying to outdo Alien: Resurrection.
Same here. Had me stoked at the beginning and then just fell flat. Don’t think we’ll ever get another sequel in this franchise as badarse as James Cameron’s product.

Finished Squid Games Season 2. I enjoyed it. I can see why people didn’t like it as much as season one but I was still pulled into it. Very much reminds me of Hunger Games. First one the best, second one with one more go at the games is a decent watch, and now they have the same storyline as the third Hunger Games where it looks like it’s more about fighting the powers that be which hopefully won’t bore me as much as the Hunger Games storyline.

That season of Dexter Original Sin was way better than I expected. Awesome finale and entire season. The guy who played young Dex "killed it". Can't wait for season 2 and The next Dex here in a few months.

Been watching The Pitt.

If you like hospital/ER dramas....you will probably like this show.
On Max so they can be a little more realistic.

It is ok but I am not really into this type of show normally. Last one I watched and liked was house.

Finally started Landman a few nights ago. Good show. I'm enjoying it. I love Billy Bob Thorton's character. Cracks me up.

Just watched the episode with Jerry Jones where he goes on about having his kids working with him, how proud he is of the Dallas Cowboys, and blah blah blah. Lol

Wrapped up Cobra Kai last night. What a fantastic show. I loved every cheesy second of it. The show really nails that perfect mix of nostalgia, over-the-top action, and heartfelt moments. Johnny was definitely the heart of the show. Watching his redemption arc, his struggles with being a father, and his hilarious outdated ways made him such a great character.

I hate to see it go, but at least they wrapped it up on their own terms instead of dragging it out too long.

Finally got around to watching The Boys on prime.

Binged it.

Wow that show does not hold back at all. Def not a show for young eyes.

While watching the last season, 4, I was thinking man this show has to make so many people mad.

Either way it is a decent show but does go over the top with the blood spatter and sexual stuff. Oh and the guy who plays the main villian really does a good job with his looks and facial tics.

It is not quite on the same level but I recommend watching its sequel, GEN V. It has only one season under its belt so far, with hopefully more to come.

One of the show's main cast members, Chance Perdomo, died last year in a motorcycle accident. Amazon Prime renewed the series for a second season but I am not certain whether Perdomo's death affected its production schedule.

It is really sad. I liked him in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina also.

Those last 4 episodes were so good. They did a great job of wrapping everything up
The scene with Johnny and Kreese - looking at Johnny's emotion, even though he had aged, it really felt like he was younger and took you back through all his past issues. Also, Thunderstruck blaring and them coming out in all black Cobra Kai was awesome.

Oh wow, I didn't know he died! That sucks, I liked him.
