Just now getting to the syfy channel series The Expanse.

Do not know why I did not watch it when it came out.

I remember KillJoys, The Expanse and Dark Matter came out on that channel at pretty much the same time.

For some reason I watched Dark Matter and not the others.

I was ok with Dark Matter but it did not last long. Wish I would have watched The expanse though.

But it is nice finding a syfy space series and have a few seasons you can go through.

The Expanse is probably the most realistic sci-fi space series ever, as far as the technical things, such as the effects of gravity and how to compensate for it.

It's a very good show.

The Expanse was great. It's one of the best scifi shows I have seen. I really liked Dark Matter too. They cancelled if after it ended the last season with a huge cliffhanger.

Black Hawk Down is one of the very few, of only, that I just could not watch again. Must be an military thing but that movie, circumstances of the real issues, made be so mad in a few parts. Might have been a mini panic attack I just did not know it at the time.

I love WWII movies. Have seen plenty of other Korea, Viet Nam and Middle east ones as well. But that one just got to me.

Maybe the documentary will not be so bad to me.

Black Hawk Down has to be one of the greatest military blunders in US history. It ranks up there with the failed Iran hostage rescue mission and the mess in Beirut. It just shows that ll military superiority can be undone by bad decision-making.

I am about ready to start season 4 and you are right.

She does a great job.

Binged watched the Netflix series The Recruit.

So got to watch two seasons. Although the first had 8 episodes, the second only had 6.

Decent show. Not believable of course but most action series are not.

I liked it better than the night agent.

I am almost finished with season 1 of The Recruit. It is a comedy drama so it doesn't have to be technically accurate in all areas. But I too am enjoying it more than Night Agent, which was just stupid. I understand The Recruit was cancelled by Netflix so there will not be a season 3. Too bad, it is an enjoyable show to watch.

The only thing is, I can't understand why they try to make it seem like the character played by Laura Haddock (Max) is attractive. To me, she is not in the least, and that is being generous.

I feel the same way about Maggie Gyllenhaal, in The Dark Knight movie. I find her absolutely homely.

Finally got around to watching The Boys on prime.

Binged it.

Wow that show does not hold back at all. Def not a show for young eyes.

While watching the last season, 4, I was thinking man this show has to make so many people mad.

Either way it is a decent show but does go over the top with the blood spatter and sexual stuff. Oh and the guy who plays the main villian really does a good job with his looks and facial tics.

Also you’ll find that they pretty much nailed predictions on current events with their dark satire. One of those shows I binged a second time and realized I didn’t give it enough credit for being such a smart show. Easy to lose sight of it with all the extreme scenes.

See, I'm the opposite. lol The team dynamic in Season 2 didn’t do much for me. I prefer the one-man army Reacher! While he has some outside help in season 3, it's still pretty much him out there wrecking things.

Either way, sounds like we both enjoy the show in one capacity or another, and that's what counts.

Also, I can't comment on the books. Never read them. I'm sure somebody around here has and can chime in though.
