Mobland.

Guy Ritchie series with Pierce Brosnan, Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren, Geoff Bell and Patty Considine.

I am only in a couple of episodes so far and have been enjoying.

I believe it’s from the same guy who does Top
boy which I love.

It doesn’t have the Top Boy or Guy Ritchie feel but I read this started off as a spin off from Ray Donovan…

Started off slow but it’s getting pretty good now.

I remember Top Boy being on the list but some how just have never watched it. Will have to check it out.

I tend to watch quite a bit of british shows, esp for being in West Virginia lol.

I really enjoyed the inbetweeners when it was on. Liked the first movie but thought the second one was meh.

Loved sex education.

Liked bad education with Jack Whitehall and the movie had me in tears a few times.

Mobland is killer and Gangs of London has been good but this season is kind of odd.

Long time fan of Dr Who and I liked Torchwood when it was on.

Mrs Browns boys was always good for a laugh and I liked that they brought the two main characters over to be in a Medea Movie.

The sherlock holmes Series* with Cumberbatch and Martin was good when it was on.

The misfits which had the guy who went on to be in the umbrella academy and the guy who went on to play ramsey bolton in GOT.

The old Monty Python and Benny Hills are a given.

Never watched Downton Abbey, Broadchurch, Top Gear. Meant to get around to Luther but never did.

Loved the old British Junkyard wars, US version was not as good IMO.

Watched the US version of the office but never the british.

Although not watching british version of the office, still like most of Ricky's stuff like Idiot abroad. Life's too short with warrick davis had some of the funniest stuff. Then when they had carl and warrick do a short show together.

Love 8 of 10 cats show. Love Taskmaster have watched every season and currently in the new one. The other two versions from austraila and new zealand are not as good. Love graham norton show, funnier than the us late night shows.
Man down with Greg Davis....that guy is just the best for a laugh.

Watched first season of Death in Paradise and liked it but never watched the others for some reason.

If you can think of any good comedies are good modern stuff like the show above, feel free to mention them. Always looking for something to watch.

Yup...i stopped watching after 1/2 way through 3...but decided to finish it today. Definitely picking up now
For those who gave up on this show I just finished it and for the life of me I do not understand why they waited so long to get the story moving. Episodes 5 and 6 are packed with so much going on. Is it a great show? No. It's pretty average but as slow as it is in the beginning is as wild as it gets at the end.

As I mentioned in another post the show has been renewed for season 2 already. And season 1 ends in a bit of a cliff hanger. But at least you know what is going on when season 1 ends. There is no predicting what season 2 will look like but there are some obvious paths they can take to wrap the story up. Yet, I don't trust Netflix and something tells me season 2 will never be released. I suspect if it is released it will be in 2027 or 2028 at the earliest.

I actually thought "Into the Night" was a better show, as was it's parallel story "Yakamoz S-245". Netflix has not yet renewed either of these series, which dovetailed together into an interesting cliffhanger, and it seems like at this point both have been pocket cancelled.

There's an older British series, think it came out 2005 or so, called "Hustle" and ran for 8 seasons that was pretty good. It was about a group of Con Artists, that perform heists and long cons on people that deserve to get conned. You will recognize most of the actors if you watch British shows, but it does feature one American in the cast, Robert Vaughn, who acts like a mentor and is an old school grifter. You would probably like it if you like heist movies or shows.

There is an Aussie crime series called "Underbelly" that is based on true events and criminals through Aussie history. Each season is based on different criminals and different eras, some seasons are better than others, but the first season is excellent. The first season was barred from airing in part of Australia due to many trials related to the people and events were taking place or were set to take place. Highly recommend to anybody that likes crime or mob shows to watch the first season.
