It is amazing that with our pass rush we have 0 ints for the year.

Stewart needs to go, seriously.

I have bit my tounge over that last few weeks, but I have to say this right now. If the D does not step up play better than it is now, this season is not going to end pretty. For some reason, this defense is not right. I just hope they get their heads outta their behinds soon.......

How can the defense get the blame when our OC doesn't give them a break?

Okay i agree that our offense deserves plenty of blame but it doesnt take away the fact that our D is horrible at fnishing off plays and get absolutely no turnovers. You cant win a championship with that kind of defense!

How about we call out the Coaching staff of the defense....they are having the CB's play off of their guys by 10 yards....when they did play up on their guys on 3rd down, we had a sack and on another one it was that freak 2 yard pass to Cooley I believe for a 1st down, but he had nobody to throuw to and we almost had another sack.....we need to quit babying the CB's and let them play up on their man.

One thing that playing off of your man does is it allows the WR unfettered access to run the route it is meant to be run....it also lets the QB see the field better since all of his WR's are running what they should be.

It DOESN'T allow our D-line to get more pressure since knocking a Wr off of their route holds the QB up.

The freakin' coaching staff just needs to hire me to run the CB's. At least I played the position.

Yeah, tired of getting super excited and drinking the cool-aid in the offseason about defensive improvements. Same thing every year no matter who we sign. Not sure how much of it is dump players or scheme. Just feel like Charlie Brown having the ball pulled out from under him one too many times.

Wade has never won a thing in this league and it doesn't look like he ever will. But it's hard to blame him since Jerry's the one who hired the mediocre retread.

At the very least he was supposed to be a 3-4 defensive guru. Well that's a joke. The defense is the weakest link.

Then on top of it we have Jerry's handpicked wonder boy, Garrett, who abandons the run most of the game despite being down by less than a TD the majority of the second half.

If this team had some decent coaching we might be able to take advantage of the talent we have. But that's not the case. What a waste.

This defensive scheme is very unimpressive. I don't know how anyone could argue with that.

I'm not going to trash him over one game, but he was clearly hired for ONE reason alone, and that was to make this a very good to great defense. After 4 games this yr, we have a painfully average defense. 4 games, no ints...amazing...worst pass coverage schemes I have seen in a long, long time. Some of us said in preseason that it looked bad, and many said we holding stuff back or being chicken littles...well...

The defense is mostly responsible for todays loss, but you could also throw plenty of blame at the OL (couldnt block anybody, especially on run plays) special teams (kick return and punt returns, terrible) and even Romo, who clearly wasnt very sharp and threw another awful INT

To have 12 men on the field after a TO though is pretty damn pathetic...he might have nailed the FG anyway, but at least it wouldnt have been a gimmee...story of the game though is pathetic defense

we definitely wont win a championship with this kind of defense...

It's hard to argue with any of the above statements after four weeks. As talented as the defense is on paper, they're certainly underachieving as a unit on the field. Poor tackling and giving up too many third down coversions for me.

they deserve alot of the blame...had a chance to stop them and keep the score 23-17, instead gave up a 7 minute drive and blew a 3rd down stop on the cusp of FG range with an incredibly stupid penalty

This defense does not press. Listening to Aikman talk about how Brian Stewart aka I couldn't defend against a card board box was gonna press quincy jr. into his 3 or 4 options. I sat here and watched Q2 repeatedly scan the field. How do you call playing 10-15 yards off a wr forcing a qb into 3 or 4th options? I dont get it.

The Chargers pass defense was never good.

I sure as hell didn't expect Wade to fix them.

Nor will we win by abandoning the run in the first half of a game and refusing to use a major weapon like Felix.

I sometimes wonder is Garrett is related to Martz.

How can a PROFESSIONAL OC call 10 run plays for an entire game?!?!

You trying playing in the 4th quarter as a front 7 player.

We dominated the past 3 games in the 4th because we wore down defense with the run... today the Skins used are move.

the defense seems to want to rely on the offense scoring 30 every game. it's not fair and it's not practical. at some point the defense has to step up and contribute to a win

Why is our secondary (namely our corners) playing SO FAR off the line of scrimmage? 10 yards from the receiver is INEXCUSABLE. No contact = WR's open. 10 yds from line = No interceptions.

Replace stewart with Campo! forget about his headcoach failure and think before that!

Stewart has been very unimpressive to this point but Wade has to get equal blame. The Commanders came in knowing that our defense was overated and played us that way.
