Haven't seen this mentioned so sorry if I missed it.

In the 4th when the officials took a timeout because the Titans player didn't have his helmet on, shouldn't that have been some sort of delay of game penalty or something since he lost it on the previous play. He should have had time to pick up his helmet you would think.

I think the official actually had the player's helmet. Strange call the say the least.

When the helmet finally stopped rolling from the previous play, it was laying on the cowboys side of the LOS. The cowboys were in a no huddle offense so the defender rushed back (without his helmet) to the LOS so as to not be offsides at the snap.

I thought it was odd and perhaps a delay penalty or maybe the titans should've been charged a 30 sec time out.
 
Everyone sitting around me wondered why there wasn't a delay of game penality.
