Official watermelon thread.

There is a small town in Oklahoma named Marlow that sells Black Diamond Watermelons.

Supposedly the best Black Diamond Watermelons you can get are there.

I've never liked watermelon with salt. Actually, I don't like mixing sweet and salt flavors, at all.

However, I do like cold, sweet watermelon. Can't decide which I like more...chopping off a piece from a fresh watermelon or eating pre-cut watermelon.

Reeses cups? Peanut M&M's?

Those don't count. Chocolate overrules everything.. :D

I'm referring to watermelon/salt thing of course, as well as how certain asian foods tie the two together. Never tastes good to me.

Salt actually preserves fruit for extended period of time , also enhancing .

Salt has been used for thousands of years as a food preservative. Salt inhibits bacteria growth due to it draws the moisture out of their cells preventing their survival.
