Jason Garrett could be a good coach if he left town and worked under a great HC for a couple of years, then moved to coordinator, and then to head coach. The guy is just confused and has no clue about game day situational football, if that's a word.

He has the skills, but right now, he's not ready to be a head coach.

Anytime your 4th Quarter Defense is depending on large part on "whoever backs up Ernie Sims", your chances of losing are pretty high.

Says the guy who doesnt even mention the Packers getting 5 TDs on 5 possessions in the 2nd half.

Anyone see Eli Manning's stat line today? I'll ruin it and give away the ending: He had a Passer Rating of 31.9

Maybe a critical interception with three minutes left gave them a short field for a go ahead touchdown. And maybe another interception sealed it.

If the idiotic coaching staff runs the ball the whole 2nd half, or the defense makes ONE 2nd half stop, those two throws never happen.

I say romo gifted them 2 by giving their team the ball in scoring position

The first INT was at the 50, not scoring position. The 2nd INT was to end the game, they didn't score after it.

And now we're starting to twist things to make thing appear worse then they actually are, par for the Romo hater course! One interception put GB on their own side of the 50, how you could call that within "scoring position" is beyond me.

Actually, on a second thought I think I understand what you meant. You meant this defense is so bad that even offenses on the opposite side of the field are in "scoring position", right? :D

Talking about the 3and out that included sack at the 2 yard line. After punt they had it in fg range

That was a jailbreak, what exactly was Romo supposed to do there?

Bad passing on the prior plays. Probably audibles from run on first down there. Gets himself in 3rd and long and couldn't handle the blitz. Still could have thrown it away

Without seeing the 2nd half, I impression is that we did not run the ball. Gave GB the opportunity to recover and put Tony in situations where he was pressed to win the game. He wins alot of those games, but he loses alot of those games as well. If I am correct, my opinion - this is on the coaching staff more than Romo.

So I assume the running meme is going to be that Romo audibled all those pass plays the whole half, right?

And if Romo tried to throw it away, and had the ball knocked out of his hand, GB ends up with a REALLY easy TD.

You are making a ton of assumptions about what happened and what could have happened from your couch.

LOL, ok sure.

That is where Garrett has failed us. Should have benched him last year when tony was making up his own plays in the huddle. When a player puts himself over the team it's trouble. When that player is the Qb it's recipe for disaster

This I agree with more. None of this stuff would be happening if Parcells were coach.

But until I see some sort of proof that we completely abandoned the run in a game we were winning 26-3 because the QB was allowed to audible out of almost every single run play called we don't know. And if that did happen its complete organizational dysfunction.

We missed too many wide open passes, got a could of bad PI or not PI calls, didn't run enough, had to play defense with too many scrubs. That's why we lost. We can't make a stop and don't make enough 3rd down conversation. Add in the two TOs and you lose.
