There were two time out issues. #1 Pete Carrol and the seahawks called a time out toward the end of the first half so they could get the ball back on after a FG attempt. Then they were about to get a 12 man penalty on the same FG attempt and tried to call another TO, and the officials stopped play and then didn't charge them a time out because they couldn't. This means that the Seahawks basically got away with two penalties on one play, or at least got away with one and the refs basically botched it badly.

The second one was Lynch being pushed out of bounds but them winding the clock due to forward progress which lead to a TO usage in the 4th Quarter. Very questionable to call forward progress while the back is still trying to turn up field.

The out of bounds play was odd. I have seen them wind the clock in those circs so that did not surprise me that much but on the other side, exact same play, they stopped the clock. Both should have been stopped or both wound. Doing one of each was nuts.

The time out on the lynch play was because in that 9 seconds in which he lost 4 yards they blew him dead prior to going out of bounds for forward progress. A one sided call to be sure, but once they do it its technically right to roll the clock. I"m sure the same was true of the Wilson play. They were calling progress very quickly in the 4th quarter for the seahawks.

It could not be true of the Wilson play. He dove FORWARD out of bounds.

Classic screw over the Cowboys.

They allowed Pete Carroll to circumvent the rules. Period. Now they won't even own up and give a proper apology. Disgraceful.
