Are offensive line got manhandled by 4 and 3 man fronts today.

This team is 1 offensive line away from being a playoff force.

The defense is continuing to improve...especially the front 7.....but....the offensive line is not improving.

Both our gaurds are past thier prime. Gurode is to slow...

Our Tackles are average at best

Bledsoe had zero time to throw even with the Giants rushing THREE. Just pathetic.

I agree. It seems I posted the same thing and for some reason my threads (2 of them) have been deleted....

I hear people complaining about play calling. Well if your offensive line sucks, and your QB can't move then its limit your playing calling ability.

You must be in a good mood or something because that is way too nice. I get sick anytime I even look at Tuckers face because he looks like Shrek, only darker, and he plays like the DONKEY!! Rob needs to quit using the "I'm new so its all good" mentality and knock some heads out there, do your freakin job and quit asking for help. Larry Allen, I cant say becasue I havent payed as much attention to him, and Marco Rivera, I forgot who he was for a while, I've heard his name only when they call penalties. Aaron Glenn really impressed me today, he played very well and shut down Plax.....that'll hurt my Fantasy Team, but oh well, good job Glenn. I'm sick and tired of seeing that huge gap between Strahan's front teeth when he makes a play.........but if I got to take advatage of idiots like that, I'd laugh too!!

You have to have play-calling ability to be limited in that area. I tried my hardest to give Peyton the benefit of the doubt earlier in the year, but watching todays game I felt like I'd already seen iit, we do the EXACT same thing every game. He has no creativity, and he seems to only pass when we are down by 17 points. As soon as we started passing the ball, everything opened up!! Can they not see that, is it hard to figure out, or do they just ignore it??

This game was lost on a third and one play that went down field rather then just running the ball or QB sneaking it for a yard.

Round 1: Marcus McNeill

Round 2: Max-Jean Giles(Even if he doesn't get to start for a couple years. He can spell Allen and Riviera)

And the thing is, by the time the o-line could possibly get above average you'll need a QB and a couple WR's anyway.

It's not like we trot out P. Manning, Harrison and Wayne out there with a crappy o-line. We trot out 3 guys that dont exactly put a high degree of fear in anyone.

When the OL can not pass protect (and today they could not), it is impossible to open it up. They can't run block either. Our only TD today came on a 7 yard drive. The only time JJ saw any space was on a screen pass in the second half and once in garbage time. Well, he did see space once, but Umenyiora outran him to the sideline. Folks, they have looked bad for a while now and they looked worse today. Bledsoe wasn't perfect, but we basically had no chance once they got the lead. We are, at best, the second best team in the NFC East.

It's not about creativity, if you need to trick people in December to have big plays then your team is not very good. And this team is average. Just look at the good team like Denver,Indy,Seattle. Everyweek is the same offensive principles. If you haven't establish an offensive identity by week 13 then you have major problems.

This line has NO young studs. Larry Allen is still good, but he isn't gonna play forever.
Flozell can be very good, we desperately miss him now. Al Johnson just can't handle physical DT's. Marco Rivera isn't as good as he once was and isn't young. Pettiti lacks the athletic ability to play tackle.

We really need some athletic players on the line that can give the QB time and create holes.

Would anyone take the entire UT O-Line over this one right now?

I think the before and after Flozell situation offers a textbook example of the importance of a good O-Line. Drew played bad no doubt, he missed some open throws, but that's what happens when you have no rhythm and get hurried nearly every play. Plus the weather was awful and E. Manning had even worse numbers.

Frankly, Bledsoe is to blame. When you have someone to hold onto the ball THAT long, it just puts too much pressure on the OL. Look at the Saints-they have a VERY good OL, but a crappy QB who doesn't have a clue.

Get Tony Romo in there NOW-we need to look into the future.

This entire O-line could and maybe SHOULD be overhauled next year...I think Flozell Adams is the ONLY safe player on the line..

Don't be surprised to see new center/guards and RT next year...

PLAY COLOMBO ar RT next week..

Pettiti is a BACKUP at BEST..........
