There were some missed calls on Saturday and I loved it because they let both teams get away with some stuff.

This crew should be the model for the entire NFL, call the blatant stuff, otherwise keep the game going and let what the players on the field do decide the game. Some of the crews want to make themselves the focus of the game and it ruins the flow of the action.

Agreed. I noticed our receivers getting held a bit but noticed the same on our end. I am fine with it as long as it’s consistent with both teams. Less stripes = better football game.

Oh yeah. Could have easily called playing through the back of the receiver.

I didn't even notice that. I just assumed he got his hand on the ball before he made contact, I guess. Then again, I was watching the game after I already knew the outcome, so I wasn't worried about flags hurting us.

In the playoffs, the refs generally let the players play. Not a whole lot of ticky tack calls.

Wow, that is surprising because they let an awful lot of stuff go on Saturday.

If we get them again in the playoffs lets see if they let a lot of stuff go. If they call us for 14 penalties again then something is up. The Randy Gregory penalty in the last minute of the game was a good call. It was just a boneheaded penalty on Randy which led to us burning some precious timeouts and making a comeback just about impossible.

I watched the game after the fact too but I was thinking, "I wonder how silent the game thread was on that play." Lol.

Everytime I see that crew I want to crawl in a hole.

I think it was the crew from the Great Vegas/Thanksgiving robbery last season too.
