I thought the replay showed it was clearly an INT...looked like both feet hit the green after he finally secured it...Romo's only really stupid throw, it certainly deserved to be intercepted...I didn't see any argument with it...neither did the announcers after watching the replay in slow mo.

Well, I was there on the 'Boys side and had a clear view. There was no possession until he was clearly out of bounds. Afterwards the refs said some absurd thing that "possession is a judgement call and cannot be challenged." I think they knew it was a terrible call.

A good team puts things like that behind them and goes ahead about their business and wins the game 35-15.

Hoover's Fumble on the Kickoff could have been ruled that he had a kneedown. Also, Delhomme's Fumble looked just like Manning's fumble that was overturned.

Delhomme's fumble call actually shocked me, especially after they called Bledsoe sacked last week when he was still standing straight up and actually completed the pass to Barber within two yards of a first down...I still don't get that one...I thought "in the grasp" had gone the way of the dinosaur.

The problem is, they kept stoping the damn replay right when his second foot hit near the sideline. I'm almost certain he bobbled it again after that foot went down. I didn't record the game, so I can't be certain, but thats what I thought after rewinding it several times last night.

Either way, it did deserved to be intercepted. It was a bad pass, period.

Mike Pereira explained that it's still "in the grasp" IF there is a second defender coming to hit the quarterback. If there's just one guy, the quarterback can throw the ball. But if there's another guy coming, they're going to blow the whistle to prevent the second guy from teeing off on a helpless quarterback.

How was it PI on Newman when the ball hit him? Last I checked, he wasn't touching the Panther WR.

Because a lot of people's opinions are influenced by the TV commentators, even though they frequently make mistakes.

John Madden said it should have been a penalty for "face guarding." So now people on message boards everywhere are saying that it should have been a penalty for "face guarding." Too bad Madden doesn't realize that face guarding is perfectly legal in the NFL if you don't physically interfere with the receiver.

If an astute commentator had said it wasn't a penalty and explained the rule, nobody would be saying it should have been a penalty.

Not sure I'd call him a thug.

But yea it was a really late call. If anything it looked more like an illegal contact then a pass interference.

When you wear a hairnet, black under the eyes, have your arms full of tatoos and wear that thing over your nose, you are a thug (especially when you push a ref and get thrown out of a game).

Okay, I'll stick with the "conclusion to its conclusiveness by the NFL".

Will you stick to it if the NFL rules that it was a referee mistake (again)?

Sloppy called game by the refs on both sides. I think at least 3 times, I said, "wow great blocking on that play" only to see clear holds on the replay.

I also saw at least 2 phantom calls, obviously make-up calls. Really makes it hard to enjoy the game. Either let them play a little, or call it tight.

There's a difference. For one, I've yet to hear a Cowboys fan on this board say that the refs cost us a game. I hear that all of the time from Skins fans. I've also never heard of a Cowboys fan claiming there's a "conspiracy" by the refs against Dallas. I have heard plenty of Skins fans say that on their main boards. Essentially, because Joe Gibbs acts the way he does it results into their fans coming up with these crazy ideas.

But the reason why I whine about the refs is that I'm a fan of football and the refereeing is pretty poor. I complained about the refereeing in the Indy vs. Pittsburgh game in the playoffs last year and the Super Bowl last year as well. The refereeing stinks. It needs to get better and the NFL doesn't seem to be all that proactive in improving it.

And that bothers me, regardless of who is playing.

YAKUZA

Whining about the refs in a game we won 35-14 when Carolina got screwed just as much is about as rediculous as it could possibly get.

Who remembers our playoff game in Carolina 3 years ago? Remember how the Panthers DT's were lining up offsides every play and they were never called?
