Main player cuts
- Brandon Carr
- Barry Church
- Terrell McClain
- Devin Street
- Kellen Moore
Cheap resigned
- Lance Dunbar RB
- Jack Crawford DL
- Bernadeau OL
- Matt Cassel QB- cheap but decent backup who should be better after a full training camp.
- Rolando McClain ILB- has no market. Not resigned till after the draft on a cheap 1 year deal with some incentives.
Cheap free agents
- Ian Williams DT- cheap 1tec who will take on blocks, stuff the run, and collapse the pocket from time to time
- Anquan Boldin WR- 49ers starting over and will continue to move on from their old core. Not the speed player we all want but can still be a playmaker playing opposite of Dez.
Big Money signings
- Greg Hardy DE- He just make everyone around him better. No longer a distraction in his 2nd year
- Janoris Jenkins CB- Best zone corner in the game and perfect for our defense
(Using CBS, Walterfootball, and Drafttek to get the general draft rankings)
Mock Draft
1.) Tennessee Titans- Laremy Tunsil
2.) Cleavland Browns- Paxton Lynch
3.) San Diego Chargers- Joey Bosa
4.) Dallas Cowboys- This is where Cowboy fans are cheering that we got Jared Goff. Every ones happy as can be till we see on the war room cam that Stephen has started to make phone calls. As a whole we start to get a little antsy as our draft counter continues to run down till its last seconds when it should have been a quick call in to say we select the QB out of Cali. As we watch after the 3rd phone call, Stephen hands the phone over to Jerry and we see Jerry smile big. Cowboys come to an agreement with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cowboys get 9th overall pick, TB 2nd round pick, TB 5th round pick, TB 6th round pick
Bucs get 4th overall pick and the Cowboys 4th round pick(using the trade chart this comes out to a fair trade)
4.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Traded up to make sure they get OT Ronnie Stanley to protect the blind side of their brand new franchise QB.

9.) Dallas Cowboys- Ezekiel Elliott RB, Ohio State- Outside of a few blue chip talents and a couple of QB prospects, the talent level kinda drops a tier or 2 quickly and the draft can go anyway. So we take advantage of this by taking the best RB in the draft who will make a impact from day 1. We fill a need and keep open our SB window.
RD 2.) Su'a Cravens SS/OLB, USC- Moving him to safety and taking advantage of his coverage skills, natural hands, and awareness. Great in the run support and can be a thorn in the side of offensive coordinators as a blitzer. Like Shaq Thompson from last year, his position on draft boards will be different for every team. very possible he falls to the 2nd round.
Alt pick- Germain Ifedi OT, Texas A&M- Big, strong, and agile tackle with a wide body that slows edge rushers as they take a little longer to get around him. Strong, aggressive, and plays with a nastiness as a run blocker. If Cravens is gone then lets finish off our line. Ifedi projects as a RT or OG in he NFL.
TB RD 2.) Jaylon Smith LB, Notre Dame- I have no idea if he even falls out of the top 20 but he will fall due to his injury so if he is here I'm taking him no matter if he is red shirted his rookie season.
Alt Pick- Jeremy Cash SS, Duke- I'm taking Cash if we miss out on both Cravens and Smith. Cash is a top run stopping box safety with some coverage skills and ball skills. Just a good safety who will greatly improve our secondary over Church and Wilcox.
RD 3.) Anthony Zettel DE, Penn State- Explosive and quick defensive lineman with a nonstop motor. Can play as a end or can can move inside on obvious passing downs. The type of player Marinelli will love. Rotates with D law on the strong side.
RD 4 Comp.) Bralon Addison WR, Oregon- Very fast, explosive, and aggressive WR with natural soft hands and sweet feet to make defenders miss. Sets up blocks pretty well also. Undersized and limited to being a slot receiver but competes with Beasely for the slot receiver spot right away. KR/PR man as well.
TB RD 5.) Nick Vannett TE, Ohio State- Wasn't used much as a receiving option at Ohio but he is a good route runner, has deep threat speed, and has good catching ability. Where his rookie value comes in is he is strong and aggressive run & pass blocker. Replaces James Hanna.
Dallas trades their 6th round pick and a 2017 7th round pick to move back into late 5th round
RD5.) Lloyd Carrington CB, Arizona State- Dallas kid who would be a pretty good nickle corner. Highly aggressive corner who is good in run support. Not afraid to get physical at the line of scrimmage. Also pretty good in zone coverage.
TB RD 6.) Kevin Hogan QB, Stanford- I already know this pick alone ruined this mock for some of you reading so thank you for reading this far. As for the rest of u still with me, Hogan is an interesting prospect. He will look like a 1st round talent one quarter then look like an UDFA the next. He has the build, athleticism, and arm strength coaches are looking for. Not to mention he has just about every intangible you want in your QB. Only thing is his wind up and quirky delivery is what puts off most people but i think continuing to develop in the pros will quicken his wind up and fix his throwing motion some. Has the potential to be a good backup to a quality starter on a team with the right talent around him. Maybe even more as Phillip Rivers overcame the same flaws Hogan has.
RD 6 Comp.) Antwuan Woods DT, USC- Strong 1tec who plays backup to Ian Williams for a year or 2 before taking over. Has flashed dominate talent in college. depth pick
RD 6 Comp.) Mekale McKay WR, Cincinnati- A tall, athletic, and deceptively fast wideout who is between the heights of 6-4 and 6-6. Needs to continue to add bulk, develop as a route runner, and work on catching with his hands. Project player who can turn out to be another Josh Gordon.... on the field.
RD 6 Comp.) Frankie Williams CB, Purdue- Quick and aggressive undersized corner(5-9) who is not afraid to take on ball carriers in the run game. Potential dime corner. Finished this season with 47 tackles, 3 interceptions, 7 pass breakups, and a forced fumble. Was an ALL-BIG TEN HONORABLE MENTION this year.
UDFA(list will get bigger the closer we are to draft)
- Drew Kaser P, Texas A&M- Averaged 48 yards per punt this season with a longest punt of 71 yards. Beat the per punt record that was previously held by Shane Lechler.
- Soma Valnuku FB, USC- 255+ pound battering ram as a run blocker. Has soft natural hands to be a receiving option and can bulldoze his way to a 1st down on 3rd and short. Not to mention was a special teams star in college. Goodbye Tyler Clutts.
