Main Player Cuts
- Brandon Carr
- J.J Wilcox
- Terrell McClain
- Devin Street

Cheap resigned
- Lance Dunbar RB
- Jack Crawford DL
- Bernadeau OL
- Rolando McClain ILB- has no market. Not resigned till after the draft on a cheap 1 year deal with some incentives.

Free agent signing
- Adrian Clayborn DE- Cheap option to replace Hardy if he is not brought back. Can rotate with Gregory at RDE.

Big Money signing
- Janoris Jenkins CB- Best zone corner in the game and perfect for our defense. Will be easier to steal from the Rams then Trumaine Johnson.

(Using CBS, Walterfootball, and Drafttek to get the general draft rankings)

Tunsil, Goff, and Bosa are off the board. I trade again with Tampa Bay but i sell OT Ronnie Stanley to the team who just found their QB and is looking to continue to improve O line with a Blue Chip Prospect. End up with a better trade then last mock.

Cowboys get 9th overall pick, TB 2nd round pick, and TB 4th round pick
Bucs get 4th overall pick and Select Ronnie Stanley

9th Overall pick) Carson Wentz QB, North Dakota State- Don't really need to say much here. We all know about him. Has all the tools and potential to be great but he is not worth the 4th overall pick. This is a weak draft in terms of Can't miss prospects other then Tunsil. So I traded down to get him. Doubt someone trades up to take him.

RD 2.) Germain Ifedi OT, Texas A&M- going the opposite of what most would do with this pick. Doug Free has gotten to the point of being just serviceable in the pass block and horrid as a run blocker. He really weakens what should be a Iron wall of defense so an upgrade is needed. Ifedi (6'5" 325lbs) is very strong, has long arms, great size, agile feet, and the nastiness u want to see in the run block. He will struggle with speed rushers but lining up both Tank and Gregory opposite him in practice should help. Played both left and right tackle at A&M but he projects best as a Right Tackle in the NFL.

TB RD 2.) Kenny Clark DT, UCLA- Like the offensive line we have a clear weak spot thats holding back the rest of the line and thats the 1tech. Such a waste to really invest in a group of good young defensive linemen in Gregory, T Craw, and Tank and rely on a scrub like Hayden to do the needed dirty work. Clark is one of the best run stuffing tackles in college football. He doesn't do much more then bull rush as a pass rusher but he has the violent hands, agility, and motor to become a pass rushing threat tho. Can be this years Eddie Goldman who has been great as a rookie for the Bears.

Alt Pick) Austin Johnson DT, Penn State- Like Clark he is a top run stuffing tackle in College. Would gladly take If Clark is gone.
RD 3.) Karl Joseph SS, West Virginia- At 5'11" & 197 LBS Joseph is undersized at Strong Safety but he plays like hes much bigger. He is one of the most physical players in college football which is how he got nicknamed "Hit man". He is a box safety but he has the cover skills, instincts, & ball skills to become a real play maker for our defense. He wont be able to cover tight ends but Byron Jones has already shown he can cover the best of the game. Some feel his ceiling is TJ Ward.

RD 4.) Bralon Addison WR, Oregon- My pet cat WR this year. He is very fast, explosive, and aggressive with soft natural hands and the sweet feet to make defenders miss. He is undersized at 5'10 but he is compact built & has the skill set to become a dangerous offensive weapon. He will play mostly out the slot but u can move him to the outside when u need to stretch the field. Mostly uses his speed to beat defenders but he is also a good route runner which makes him deadly with with his track star speed. Becomes our punt returner day 1.

TB RD 4.) Jonathan Williams RB, Arkansas-
A big physical runner between the tackles. Perfect player to pair with Run DMC. Will pick up the tough yards on 3rd and short because u gonna need more then an arm tackle to bring him down. Was projected as a 2nd day pick but his stock has fallen due to a foot injury in the preseason. Has natural hands and also shows good technique as a blocker. Great value if his foot injury checks out good of course.
RD 4 Comp.) Nick Vannett TE, Ohio State- With Hanna a free agent and Escobar injured, we need another TE. Vannett is kind of a hidden gem at the moment due to only 1 year experience as a starter and Ohio State hardly using him as a receiving option. Vannett (6'6" 260 lbs) can contribute right away as he is a good pass and run blocker but he also has the physical tools u can develop behind Witten. Has the natural hands and catching ability to replace Escobar as a red zone threat. Needs to continue to develop his route running and blocking technique.

RD 6.) Lloyd Carrington CB, Arizona State- Carrington is my pet cat CB this draft. He is a highly aggressive defender who is more then willing to latch on and reroute receivers at the line of scrimmage. He lacks great straight line speed, but has the awareness, timing, and hand eye coordination to make plays on the ball. Best fit is in a Zone based defensive scheme. Projects best as a nickle corner due to his physicality. Very good in the run support. Great fit and value for the Boys.

RD 6 Comp.) Terrance Smith OLB, Florida State- Rangy and athletic linebacker with the speed to cover running backs and tight ends. Lacks power and growth potential but his aggressive mentality will keep him in the league. Good depth player who will contribute on special teams right off the bat.

RD 6 Comp.) Frankie Williams CB, Purdue- undersized at 5'9" but he has a smooth pedal, swivel hips, and flexible joints to react to throws. He plays bigger then he looks in run support but is more quick then fast. Good depth player who should see some time in dime packages.

RD 6 Comp.) Antwuan Woods DT, USC- Not even sure if he is here at this pick. Have seen him projected to go day 2 as well as go undrafted. If he is here he is a good depth player at the 1tec. Strong with a great motor. Eats block and stuffs the run. Will collapse the pocket from time to time with a bull rush.

Priority UDFA's
-Byron Marshall RB/WR, Oregon-
Has the speed, stutter step, and burst to turn a short pass into a huge gain. Suffered a leg injury part way thru the 2015 season. If he checks out then he could be great value. Can use him the same way we used Dunbar & Whitehead this year. Bring him in to compete with both Dunbar and Whitehead during training camp. Would instantly become our best kick returner.

- Drew Kaser P, Texas A&M- Averaged 48 yards per punt this season with a longest punt of 71 yards. Beat the per punt record that was previously held by Shane Lechler.

- Soma Vainuku FB, USC- At 6'0" 265 lbs, Vainuku is a battering ram as a blocker between the tackles. Can become an even better blocker with some more development. As a ball carrier he is such a hard player to bring down so he is a great option in short yardage situations as well as goal line situations. He has natural hands as a receiver out the backfield and deceptive speed. Moves like hes 40 pounds lighter then he really is. He was also a star on special teams for the Trojans.

If I like wentz enough to take him at 9...which I'm not saying I do...I would just take him at 4

Cant get cute when it comes to QBs

True but these QB's have been completely over hyped. I Don't see all 3 Goff, Lynch, and Wentz going top 10. If not Wentz then i would be perfectly fine with Lynch.

I like it, but Id love it if you swap your 2nd and 4th. I dont think we should go RT that high a year after taking Green in the 3rd. Id like to take Cravens there but I like who you got in the 3rd. With that 2nd Id be looking at Alex Collins. I would like to take an OT 4th as a contingincy and depth at OT

To be honest i just started to get into tape and reading scouting reports on offensive lineman. I got to Ifedi and liked what i saw. Yea i would love to get Cravens, but the more tape i watch on him as well as highlight video the more i realize he probably wont drop out the 1st. Who is OT u like that can be had in the 4th? I'll give him a look see.

Cant really argue with that logic. If you like a guy, you take him. As far as 4th round type OTs, I can't really. I dont know much right now about the mid level OTs

Why would we cut JJ Wilcox? He's on his rookie deal and makes such a small amount it would make zero sense to release him. Even if he played only on special teams, it would be worth it to keep him around.

Personal choice, but i can see your point. Just don't want any reason for Karl Joseph to not see time on the field in the scenario i made.

Yea, I just think people over react and want guys cut. Joseph can go down in training camp with a torn ACL. Wilcox is just to affordable to cut just because he isn't a starter.

I'm not opposed to cutting him in the least, but he should at least be brought to camp. Cutting him early gives no savings. Take him to camp and if you have better b/u safeties and STs players cut him then. That route helps protect against injuries and gives you another body to take reps.

Don't get why Wentz isn't worth the #4 pick but is indeed worth the #9 pick. Is 5 picks really that massive a gap - enough of a gap to potentially lose out on the player you feel is at least the 9th best in the draft?

I agree with those who say if you like the QB enough to take at #9, take him at #4 when you are assured of getting him.

Truthfully i don't think he is worth the 9th overall pick either but i decided to bite the bullet and take a QB to develop and use extra picks from the trade to add a impact player at DT and a RB. I just don't agree with taking a QB at #4 in this draft. They are not as good as hyped. Goff seems to be the best of the bunch but very little chance he makes it past the Browns. I do understand that we are in the uncommon situation that we have a franchise QB who's in the back end of his career and we have the luxury of developing a player behind him due to a season of injuries but i would rather miss out on the QB's then take one due to fear. I really have no fear that either Wentz or Lynch won't be sitting their at #9. They are not worth trading up. Eagles and Rams are the only 2 teams i could see entertaining the ideas of trading up but, its going to cost either team a whole lot to move up to take a QB who is at least a couple years away from being a starter.
