Okay I have been thinking about the positions most feel are a top need for us this offseason WR, CB and HB. I have also been thinking alot about the draft and our 2 picks this year. I think that 3 moves could be made to make me feel good about next season.
1. Sign Roy Williams to a deal since he has expressed his intent to come home to Texas.
2. Sign Asante Samuel since he is looking for a new home and has also stated he would like to be closer to home. (Fort Lauderdale , FL)
3. Trade up in the draft to pick up a Franchise type RB.
I know if we signed most of our free agents and managed to pick these players up I would be more then excited about the 2009 season. I think most of you would as well. I also think if we lose both Crayton and Glenn we could grab Bernard Berrian fairly cheap and he would give us that deep thret we have been lacking untill our little project is ready.
What do you guys think? Roy Williams, T.O. and Bernard Berrian with Jason Witten at TE and maybe Jerry's man crush Darren McFadden sharing time with Marion the Barbarian. Oh yeah and that guy Tony Romo slinging the ball around to all of them behind his monster Oline.
I know someone will try to be smart and unique and throw that this is not madden thing up but this is a possibility seeing as we are still under cap and the cap is also being rasied after this season.
