James Pearce, Come On Down!:

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/47863327/falcons-james-pearce-arrested-florida-battery-charges

"Atlanta Falcons rookie linebacker James Pearce Jr. was arrested Saturday in Florida after an alleged domestic dispute involving Los Angeles Sparks forward Rickea Jackson, police said.

Pearce was arrested in Miami-Dade County on two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and a count of aggravated stalking. He was also charged with fleeing and eluding police officers, aggravated battery of a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer without violence to his person.

Doral police chief Edwin Lopez told WPLG-TV that the alleged dispute was between Pearce and Jackson. Lopez told the outlet that Pearce was arrested after fleeing the alleged dispute and crashing his vehicle during a police chase.

Going out on a limb here--this will not be the last incident of its kind before training camp.

If you stick around here, we usually do McGinn's "Anonymous Scout" series. That usually has some very interesting information

Some of the interesting information that came out in that series was scouts had serious questions about Pearce off the field. Looks like there was some series fire to go with that smoke

I wrote this one off as 'wrong place, wrong time'...until I saw the place and time:

https://sfstandard.com/2026/02/09/4...-involving-rapper-lil-baby-sf-stripper-party/

"San Francisco 49ers defensive end Keion White was shot early Monday morning at a Mission Street nightclub following an argument involving rapper Lil Baby, according to a police report viewed by The Standard. The San Francisco Police Department has not named a suspect.

A party that began Sunday night continued into the early hours Monday at Dahlia’s, a bar and nightclub at 1799 Mission St. There were several strippers on the main floor, and the private party, where White was shot, was downstairs.

Social media posts that appeared to be from the party showed Lil Baby, whose given name is Dominique Jones. The musician performed Sunday night in San Francisco, according to an event listing (opens in new tab) and a social media post (opens in new tab).

Representatives for the rapper did not respond to a request for comment.

A witness interviewed by police said Jones’ entourage was on the main floor and tried to enter White’s private event. White got into an argument with the rapper, the witness told police.

The witness said that when he went upstairs to ask for managers’ help, he heard two gunshots. Downstairs, he found that White had been shot in the left leg. The witness said he did not know who the shooter was.

Topless women were sweeping up dollar bills when police entered the club to investigate the 4:06 a.m. shooting, the report said.

“As I entered, I saw numerous scantily clad females picking up dollar bills that were strewn all over the floor,” the police report says. “Some of the females were topless and appeared to have been adult entertainers.”

See, if i was an NFL GM, i'm looking at these kind of things now with the kids coming out of college. They have money in their pockets these days, and if they are out partying at strip clubs in the wee hours of the morning (or any time for that matter), i'm dropping them way down my draft board. Character matters. Seriousness of purpose matters.

This incident allegedly took place before the Super Bowl, but we have new developments:

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...on-diggs-pleads-not-guilty-assault-allegation

"New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs pleaded not guilty Friday to felony strangulation and other criminal charges stemming from an alleged dispute with his personal chef.

The arraignment at Massachusetts' Dedham District Court had been postponed until after Super Bowl LX so Diggs could play in the NFL championship game.

At the arraignment, Diggs was scheduled to next appear for a pretrial hearing April 1.

According to court records, the chef told Dedham officers that she and Diggs argued about money he owed her for her work. During the Dec. 2 encounter at his home, she said, he "smacked her across the face" and "tried to choke her using the crook of his elbow around her neck," leaving her feeling short of breath.

Diggs' attorney has said he "categorically denies these allegations," calling them unsubstantiated and motivated by a financial dispute. The Patriots released a statement saying they support Diggs.

Maybe he was an innocent victim, maybe not:

"Cleveland Browns safety Ronnie Hickman was assaulted in the lobby of a New York City hotel early Monday morning, the team said.

The Browns said in a statement that Hickman, 24, was "treated for minor injuries at an area hospital after the incident, was later released, and is home resting with his family."

According to a report by the New York Post, a dispute broke out after Hickman was approached by four people in the lobby of SIXTY LES hotel after 4:30 a.m. ET. The suspects punched Hickman and left the hotel, according to the report.

Rashee Rice In Trouble Again:

https://www.si.com/nfl/new-lawsuit-accuses-chiefs-rashee-rice-domestic-violence

"A lawsuit against Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice was filed by his former partner Dacoda Jones on Monday.

In the lawsuit, Jones detailed a long history of abuse which occurred from December of 2023 to July of 2025. The accusations include acts of physical violence, some of which allegedly occurred while she was pregnant. Jones and Rice have two children together.

The domestic violence allegations against Rice first surfaced in an Instagram post back in January. At the time, the Chiefs said the team was aware of the allegations against Rice and was in communication with the NFL, via Front Office Sports. The NFL said in January that it was reviewing the allegations.

Rice was suspended for the first six games of the 2025 NFL season stemming from his guilty plea in a street-racing incident in Dallas in March of 2024 which resulted in a multi-car collision. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years of probation."

This made me laugh lol.
What did she do? Maybe she scrambled his eggs instead of sunny side up?
Oh I see, the cheapo millionaire didnt want to pay her or maybe no tip?

So he decided to strangle her to get her to shut up about the tip ! lol

Most of this is clearly on him; but I wonder how much of it was being protected and covered for over the years starting in high school? How often he got away with things facing no consequences.
So many that reach the NFL are like that.

Panthers Tackle Rasheed Walker Enters Pretrial Diversion Program:

"In January, Rasheed Walker was arrested at LaGuardia Airport after he attempted to check an unloaded handgun without the necessary paperwork. That resulted in charges on two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon along with criminal possession of a firearm.

After Walker was released on his own recognizance, a court date was set for March 19. A pretrial diversion program in this case has been offered and accepted, Joe Person of The Athletic writes. As a result, Walker’s charges will be cleared provided he avoids any further arrests in the next six months.
