Nakua In Rehab:

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...-wide-receiver-puka-nacua-rehab-attorney-says

Doesn't say exactly what sort of 'rehab' he's in. Might I posit 'image restoration rehab'?

"Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has checked in to rehab, his attorney, Levi McCathern, told The California Post on Wednesday.

Last month, a woman in Los Angeles filed a lawsuit against Nacua alleging he made an "unprovoked antisemitic statement" on New Year's Eve and later bit her on the shoulder.

"He was in [rehab] a substantial period of time before any of these allegations broke ... and he's scheduled to be there for a while longer," McCathern told The California Post.

The lawsuit filed against Nacua cites gender violence, assault and battery, and negligence. Last month, McCathern said in a statement obtained by ABC News that Nacua denies the allegations in the lawsuit "in the strongest possible terms" and that he has video evidence that "underscores" that the plaintiff's "behavior and actions are inconsistent with the allegations being made."

McCathern said Nacua is going to rehab in an attempt "to improve his overall behavior in every aspect of his life."

Personal To Puka: You, uh, might not to bunk with Tiger Woods.

The Patriots issued a statement on the matter, saying: “We are aware of the report involving Quintayvious Hutchins. We take these matters very seriously and are in the process of gathering additional information. We will not have further comment at this time.”

NFL has nothing on the University of Georgia. Every offseason multiple UGA players get speeding tickets in excess of 100 MPH, reckless driving, and drug offenses. We are talking dozens of players in the last 3 years.

Interesting how BSPN and others ignore this

I think they should just build a drag strip on campus, get the players to sign waivers, and let 'em race--drunk or sober.

THIS didn't take long. Jonathon Cooper arrested--AGAIN:

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...ted-again-allegedly-violated-protection-order

"Denver Broncos linebacker Jonathon Cooper was arrested Thursday night on multiple charges that he violated a protection order that was filed against him earlier in the week.

It is the second time this month that Cooper has been arrested. In addition to multiple charges from his first arrest, including a felony charge, he is facing new charges: one for harassment from repeated phone calls and one for the violation of a protection order, according to records.

The protection order had been placed for Cooper's girlfriend after two additional charges, including a felony charge of second-degree assault by strangulation, were added from his June 4 arrest in Parker, Colorado, according to court records.

According to the arrest affidavit, Cooper allegedly sent 20 messages and made two unanswered phone calls to his girlfriend Thursday before going to her apartment and knocking on her door before leaving when she called 911. When police went to Cooper's home, officers said he told them that he had not been served with a protection order.
