The hidden agenda- Accomadate Leary by trading him: as much as some folks like to talk bad about the Front Office.. It sure looks like they're doing there best to find a couple of veteran capable backups to work with.. I mean with all these OL signing and none of our OL has been hurt.. Sure seems like they want to have an in house replacement before trading Leary. They already seem to have a offer on the table from the Saints. It's too bad about Eagon, I like the player, but he wouldn't have made the team anyway.. Unless of course something happened to Beasley

More likely we are giving Free and Tyron and Zack and Fred the game off and wanted someone to take late game snaps. Here's a camp body who is already in the area.

For those wondering about Mike McQueen, he's a 6-6, 287 guard that was cut last week by the Chargers. He has the size to play OT if needed but would probably be expected to bulk up somewhat in doing so. He also attended Ohio State University in college.

I think this move is all about what they think of Eagan as an NFL prospect. Not as much how he stacks against Jones or the other WRs. Seems like they just saw enough and were ready to move on.
