I know it was garbage time and the game was not in doubt. I am basing this on one catch but the guy looks like he belongs out there. He has playmaking ability after the catch. I hope we get to see more of him because he looks like he will be a productive player in the league.

I agree. I have high hopes for this kid. He can't be any worse than Roy! And he's a heck of a lot cheaper. ;-)

I love the way Romo tried to congratulate him after his first NFL catch. Ogletree didn't see him, but the sentiment was so nice. Romo knows he has a lot of weapons at his disposal and he is happy about it.

Quickness and burst seems to be there. Routes look pretty crisp for a rookie.

Exciting to have good upside on the depth chart there, despite Austin emerging and Hurd making a great play too. Never hurts to have a young guy that looks pretty good. Despite the chemistry and play of RW, it is great that Austin has stepped up and Ogletree looks promising, because boy does that take off pressure regarding worry about depth of WR.

Ogletree hurt his knee on that play, a contusion. He did return to the game so it may not be very serious.

Also it shows how much different team this year's team is vs last year. Everyone is pulling for everyone, defense or offense.

I think its hard to get Ogletree in right now. Except for Roy Williams, everyone who is on the field is playing pretty well. Even Roy, its because of his money and what JErry has given up, it seems like he is sucking real bad.

Up till now, I was in support of Roy. But its time to call spade a spade, Roy Williams is playing pitiful compared to his standards. He is not that bad, but he is playing like crap so far, either because Romo is not throwing it to him well or he is running wrong routes.

Anyway, coming back to Ogletree, I think its not his time yet. There is not a spot for him really, other than occasional 4 reciever set. Next year, Hurd might be gone, since he will be either a FA or RFA, and Ogletree might rise up to be No. 2, IMO, unless Roy picks it up this year. I still have some hope on Roy though. But its really on the last few threads.

It's amazing that Austin, Hurd and Ogletree were all undrafted and Crayton was a 7th rounder, but all of them are contributing while our 1st round WR continues to struggle. Hopefully the undrafted guys will continue to develop and the light will come on for Roy who did score a TD today.
