Oh...And Another Thing, We Are Not A Great Defense

I am tired of people defending this defense. I have read all the statistical crap that so many like to throw out there when defending this defense.

Like Randy Galloway would say "Watch The Damn Game!".

This defense loves to give up the big play, we love it. We cant get to the QB no matter whay we try.

Before I get all the defense apologists upset, I am not saying they are horrible but their ranking is not indicative of how good they are.

What is so trouble some is all the draft picks, and cough cough coaching and money we have put into this thing and they are still nothing to write home about. I am plain ole disgusted right now! ARGHHH!!!

I agree. The D is very inconsistent. The only thing we do well on a consistent basis is stop the ruin. Our pass coverage and QB pressure is very poor at times

You are so right. This defense is very mediocre. And they take way too many penalties.

until we get to the QB we are and will continue to be an up and down team. we have 2 guys that can get to the QB...Ware and Ellis....THAT'S IT

Considering that Washington, one of the worst offenses in the NFC so far this year, had a field day:

They matched their season high for points, having now scored 22 three times.

Coming into today, Washington had 1 offensive TD in 33 drives, and 1 play over 25 yards against NFC opponents. They had no such problems today.

I concur, this defense is not yet good.

What defense??? I didn't think a defense got off the plane, I could have sworn the Commanders played against ghosts on the field the way the ball was being DROPPED and NOT PICKED OFF!
