with these signings. I thought they were in trouble?

that garcon contract still bewilders imagination.

but i guess when you have bums for years, you'd do anything at the first guy who looks at you.

No wonder he didn't leave, lol. He knew damn well no one else would pay him that.

Can't blame the Commanders for doing what we want to do, too. Basically spend $$$ and improve the team.

Would anyone here take Garcon over Robinson? I wouldn't. And I think Robinson is worth about half of that Garcon contract.

It's a lot of money on WR's, but I guess if you are going to run the WC offense, then you need them.

Yeah true, that is a lot of money for this guy though.

Glad it wasn't us, Garcon ain't worth that much although he will probably have the games of his life against us knowing our luck.

Maybe its me but don't they already have Pierre Garcon caliber of receivers of their team? It seems like they're just getting basically what they already have. Seems like a Vincent Jackson or a Brandon Marshall are the type of receivers they should've been trying to go for. Big and strong guys.

When you hate them as much as I do, Woodyschica, you can blame them for a whole helluva lot. On the other hand, I think I know what you mean. Press ahead in the face of salary cap problems and let the rest handle itself.

Tallest WR they signed today is 6'1" and not a single one of them has ever been more then a #2 or #3 option with their former team.

Combine their salaries, give it to VJax and they would of been better off.

Who give a crap?

The Skins do this every year and they always suck. Why would you expect anything different this time?

It's a POS doormat franchise. The only thing it can do is try to win off-seasons and strike-shortened seasons. Otherwise it is a league joke team. Why the hell would you be concerned for more 1 second what that POS team does?

Yeah I love the fact that they sign a bunch of JAGs, but they think they made noise on the first day.

Not one of their WRs would be more than a #3 on our team, and its not even close. Do have to agree with WG though, at least they are not afraid to spend it and right now we still haven't done anything.

Not really, Moss had a down year, Stallworth was old and not very good, Armstrong did nothing. Gaffney was decent and Hankerson looked like a player before getting hurt.

Garcon is better then the bunch by far, just think they over paid.

I like Garcon he is a very good wr he does seem to have a game or two where he gets the dropsies but no way he is worth that contract.

The Commanders really needed the NFL to take away more money to stop themselves from making stupid signings.

He was offered $7 million a year from the Colts. He wanted $8 million/year and that's why he went out to test FA.

He had other visits and Danny topped him off $500,000 more per season.

Garcon is no slouch and was becoming the Colts #1 with Reggie Wayne on that roster.

Look at the amount of targets when looking at WR's.

He's 26 and will be RG3's guy for a while. Shanny knows WR's for his system and this guy is in the Brandon Marshall mold without the attittude.

It's not the greatest or worst contract. Vincent Jackson is not that much better of a WR and he's over $11 million/ year.

Josh Morgan was a good value pick up for them. He can play when healthy.

The Brandon Marshall mold? Think you are going a little too far there. Good player but not THAT good.

they usually sign one of our players this time of year. buncha tools.
