And i'd be willing to bet i've been at it longer than you.

I dunno, back before they invented the internet (LOL), I used to send my annual draft analysis directly to Jimmy Johnson...

Not that I thought he needed the help, but he always sent me some nice freebies along with a letter that I'm sure his secretary wrote, personally for me... :D

I have draft publications dating back to 1989... can you top that??

He picked us to win against the Rams, but he picked the Rams against the line.

He's picked us to lose every other game. He's honestly picked us to be 1-4, yet we'll be 5-0. That's just sad.

Who cares?

I'll throw you some props... that is pretty cool.
What's the best 'freebie' he sent you?

I had never even heard of the guy till today. Maybe that's what he wants, you guys started a whole thread about him.

He is usually one of, if not the, top guys when it comes to mock drafts year in and year out.

That is his real bread and butter.

Other than that he is 90% cowboys basher with an occasional decent article.

I think he has two things to cause that. He fears being seen as a cowboys homer so he does the direct opposite. Plus it is so vogue these days to be a shock jock type of personality to get attention ala Galloway and Jen.

par for the course.

Last year he predicted us to lose to houston and tennesee.

I always find it hilarious the weeks we lose he comes on with norm and all he wants to talk about is the cowboys and what they cant do and how he thought they would game x...

when we win he talks about how the pats and colts and ravens are so great....

I blame norm hitzges, who I love, for that. He throws him softballs and never once has called him on his contstant negative attitude towards the team.

I personally dont care, but I do find it ironic with his radio interviews each week.

You don't know how badly I wish I could get through on Norm' show and ask Goose some questions.....

The "great goose" is a football drafting "genius". he works out of this market so there is no way that he could appear as a dreaded "homer". His NY buddies would chide him for this. Goose has a national image to protect... he is going places! I look at his ridiculous prediction as A SURE 'W". How in the hell did a pasty white, 150lb "man" become a "football guru"? His draft predictions last year SUCKED!!! He will come around in time... his vaunted "reputation" depends upon it.

I once rode a subway at the same time as Joel Buchsbaum. :p:

Seriously, I have draft scrapbooks that I made dating from 1989 when we took Aikman, Johnston and Stepnoski.

We also drafted an O-Lineman that year but traded him immediately to the Raiders. Do you remember who he was?

Just for the record, I bet you do... I just wanted to make it interesting.
