Miami put themselves in a position to lose and they still won.

OU can't win a close game for nothin.

Also whats up with the media buying into OU everytime they beat up teams that are severely inferior to OU?

And they keep buying into their defense as well.

Gerald McCoy is good so they act like the whole D line is some force that its not.

All I can say is congrats to Miami and for their QB who kept his head in the game after those two INTs. Good composure.

Now OU needs to beat Texas.

No I am not a OU homer.

I just like when Texas and OU ruin their chances at national Titles.

Not everyone on this board are big fans of OU, Texas, A&M or TT.

So go Sooners, beat the longhorns.

OU is a great program not sure the media has to "buy into" when they win.

Defense has been a problem but it's not the talent on that D-Line that's the problem.

I agree, he hung in there and made plays when he needed to. I also think it spoke to how well Laundry played when they referred to Harris as the kid when they both have had two years i there programs.

I thought he had one more pic in him but Franks just couldn't find the handle on a tough play.

All I know is its 4 games in and OU has already lost to the 2 best teams they have played.

Their season is over and now they can go chase things that nobody really cares about anyway.

I think the Sooners have a couple more losses in them still.

I think Miami is a really good team but they just didn't play all that well last night.

I didn't think OU was so bad that Miami could put themselves in a position to lose and Miami still win the game.

Oh and for you Longhorn fans.

You should all be worried because OU has their Quarterback of the Defense playing this year. Ryan Reynolds is back!

He was eaten up alive by the Miami's wide receivers. Reynolds looked very slow last night. If they put Reynolds on Buckner, Buckner will have a field day.

The problem is OU's lack of playmakers on offense. Now that Broyles is out 4-6 weeks, who will make plays? Demarco has still not recovered from 2007. Maybe Chris Brown? that's it. OU will find it hard to score against Texas with that offensive line with or without Bradford. Still should be a good game in two weeks.

They don't really put 1 guy on somebody. They are in zone most of the game.

Thats why those underneath routes are always there. They dare you to throw into the teeth of their defense.

Thats why if you can run the ball effectively against OU than it gets them out of their comfort zone (no pun) and forces them to run schemes that they dont like to run.
