first of all, i think both Ohio State and Oklahoma get critizised for their bad big games equally.

I think this will be a close game, i think Ohio State pulls it out and gains Respect for themselves and their conference.

I never understood the mentality of those saying certain teams can't win the "big one" when they play in the very top bowls....yet if they were to play and beat a crappy team in a lesser bolw every year, nobody would say much. It's really silly. Obviously if OSU or OU played in non-BCS bowls each year thier bowl records would be off the charts.

By the way, this same thing applies to teams that overachive to make the playoffs, then lose...or to teams that get a bye instead of playing in the wildcard (which is easier to win). In other words, you have to look more closely at the competition on all counts.

I've already said that my initial intent was mostly just trying to needle you... which I guess has worked with some success.

I do think Oregon will win, and I'm happy to make not just a sig bet, but a monetary bet as well.

But in the end, I really don't care that much about Oregon or Ohio State, and once the game is over, I'll pretty much forget about it. So I have no interest in a payment that is going to go on for an entire month, whether I win or lose.
