What do you guys think of Atogwe, assuming he can be had for a couple of million dollars? I think he is still serviceable, but is obviously on the downside of his career. The Commanders already paid him, so he might be able to be had for cheap.

I think he is better than Pool, when healthy, and is still a ballhawk. I wouldn't expect for him to stay healthy all year, but the times he will be able to play, he will be a difference maker.

Thoughts?

I'd love to have him but I don't see it happening but I would definitely like to have him here if he's healthy.

He can't stay on the field, hurts himself putting on his shower shoes.

I heard he pulled a hamstring while on the toilet.

:)

He's the type of guy who thinks he really gets hurt when being told he was "cut" by the Commanders.

Now that's injury prone......

The dude is made of freaking glass, he would be on IR by week 3.

In his 7 seasons, he has only missed 7 games due to injury. Romo has missed nearly double that in the same time period.

Are you saying that Atogqe has missed less games than the guy we just signed (poole)?

We need young blood. My guess is if we can get some stability at CB (which I'm not certain of) then we will attack the S position next year.

Wanna kick Atoqwes tires or just making a very valid point?

Both?

I agree, but unfortunately, we have let drafts go by the wayside when they were deep with safeties. This year's draft class doesn't have very many legit safeties. We have failed on developing projects like AOA, Mike Hamlin (2009 Draft), Church, Alan Ball, etc.

Sensabaugh has been a decent addition, he just needs someone competent playing next to him.
