I think he's gone, but I don't think it's a mortal lock. It wouldn't be the biggest shock in the world to me if he stayed.

Bradford probably would have been the #1 pick if he'd have gone pro, and he surprised me, so I'm on my guard with this one. :D

way he seemed to be crying when he was taken out of the game tends to imply he knows it is over

total domination by the Heels in the tournament so far.

Oklahoma City Thunder...He aint moving far from home :)

That's probably closer to the truth. What ever pick the top level talent drops to the second level that's where the Grizz pick will land. It happens to us every year. :bang2:

He'll be wearing a Grizzlies uni next season :crossed:

Nope, a Wizards uniform... and he'll be PERFECT for what they need... get him, and get Arenas back, and watch the resurgence of what Tony Kornheiser calls "les Boulez"...

To tell you the truth, though, I could live with Hasheem Thabeet as a second choice... best shotblocker I've seen since Dikembe Mutombo, and I have a hunch his offensive game will improve as he learns more about the game... this kid is very, very raw...

So, who to root for, the 25 points/15 rebounds power forward, or the 15 points/12 rebounds/5 blocked shots center??

No doubt that Griffin is a stud...

No. He's gone. Anytime you are going to picked in the top 3 or so, you'd be foolish to stay. He can get his degree still if he wants to...and hopefully someday he will.

You think after the normal post season and combine scrutiny, Bradford would be the overall #1 pick? Some say he would be the 3rd or 4th QB taken.

That's usually the way it goes for the Wiz, too... but I'm thinking with the way they just got decimated with injuries this year, they're about due to catch a break...

Like I said, Griffin or Thabeet, either one would make the Wizards a much better team...

To be fair, nearly ANYTHING would make the wizards a much better team.

Thabeet's offensive game won't improve much. He's very limited; he's going to be a garbage point scorer much like Dikembe was, Tyson Chandler is, etc.

I also question his playing strength. Granted Blair is a beast, but Thabeet really got pushed around by him. He's going to have to get a bit stronger. But his rebounding and shot blocking will translate to the pro game. He has an incredible sense of timing on his shot blocks. In that sense, he kind of reminds me of Tyrus Thomas (albeit, Thomas is a lot shorter and at a different position.... but both have excellent timing).

Memphis didn't do themselves any favors tonight by beating the Wiz.

I'm with Bear on this one... I want to see him in a Wizards uniform.

I think with Blake and with a healthy Arenas, that's a damn good team next year. Be fun to go watch them play a few times. Also, I want him out of the West, so I can root for him without worrying about any rivalries with my Spurs. :D
