OK guys some rumors are surfacing about trade rumors for wr, as you know, Parcells said today, he is loaded up on some positions, LB's, etc, looking for WR. He Parcells said that some teams have contacted the cowboys for trade. And he did play Shanle and Coleman yesterday alot.

So my question, didnt the Packers trade Javon Walker? I have heard the cowboys are in some kind of contact rumor wise with Green Bay, possibly letting scouts look at each team, and they are talking to Detroit too.

I wouldnt mind getting Mike Williams, to me, he is a young Michael Irwin if motivated right. Other wr is rogers in detroit.

So, what do you guys think or heard.

Me, personally wise, I think we need to go out and get a huge OG or OT young guy to help us out, then we will be fixed. Team wise. I am talking a pro bowl player, a young larry allen or erik williams type ot with some team. That is loaded up in offensive line.

Gone in a draft day trade with Denver.

I'd take Donald Driver. He has made some good catches in TC this year. And for Shanle and Coleman? I'd take that in a second.

I'd think you'd have to give up a ton to get Williams -- the Lions would take about $8million in cap hit. That kind of hit means you better be getting something very good in return. And he's shown he really isn't a Parcells kind of player

Never underestimate a team in a dire situation. GB's linebackers are weak and thin, and they need help and experience on the d-line. The Cowboys might have to package in a 2nd-day draft pick for Driver, but GB might consider it. Might as well put it on the table.

The only way this happens is if we give up an LB that we would otherwise want to keep.

I can't see Bill wanting to trade LB for WR. Now if they had a TE ....

Personally, I wouldn't take Scott Shanle if you paid me, and especially if I had to give something up in return, but you never know until you put the offer out there. I have seen crazier trades go down.

Someone wants Shanle they just need to pony up with a conditional 7th rounder for 2008. otherwise Bill will keep him around in until the final cut down in case someone gets hurt.

In fact, I'd imagine he's seeing more action today with Fowler and Carpenter out.
