OK, here is my problem

This may sound like a crazy question, but this Sunday the cable company is going to convert our telephones from the telephnone company service to cable company service. The cable company said they are sending someone between the hours of 1:00PM EST and 3:00PM EST. My problem is, I hope there is no interuption of service, while the technician is doing his work, and that the technician is done before the 4:00PM EST Colts vs. Pats kickoff and the Boys vs. the egirls. Is there anybody out there that knows if there is a interuption of TV service and if there is, how long does it take for the conversion to take place?
I will be loosing my mind,:bang2: if I have to miss some of the game. Thank you in advance.

I was at work when we had our phone service changed over to cable but I am pretty sure it did not effect the cable service for the TV.

The phone service runs through a modem which is also shared as the computer modem. At least with our cable company.

You can turn your cable modem off and it does not interfere with your tv reception.

Now I don't know if it is the same for every cable company but I would imagine it is similar.

So I don't think you will lose TV reception.

I would love to, but my girlfriends mom, who could care less about football, made the apointment. My jaw hit the floor when my girlfriend said that the apointment was for this Sunday. Up here in N.Y. when baseball season is over, the sports world stops, thats all anybody cares about up here is baseball. Football is just a blip on the radar. So Sunday is just another day in the week up here.
